With the sister's credibility crumbling yesterday and the now the brother (the primary witness) losing credibility, I don't see how Jackson can be found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt at this point. The accuser's family just seems so shady.

heh.. what's funny is that when I was in the hospital for my daughter's birth.. or actually in the room her mom was staying in for the next few days, they had a channel for new parenting.. and on the channel they had a little show about breast feeding.. and I kid you not, one of the couples (mom/son) they had on the show the show was like "and soon your kid will let you know when it is time to be fed" and the kid walked up to his mom and tugged on her shirt when she was talking to someone else....

WTF!?!?!? I said then that my kid better CERTAINLY not be breast fed when she is walking up and saying "Hey ma.. make with the milk already.."

that was bizarre. but back on topic.. the things michael does with kids aren't any more damaging than that... he certainly doesn't abuse or molest them (of course praying all the time that that never changes and I have to eat crow some day).

It wasn't a sole confession where he just confessed out of the goodness of his heart. Defense cracked and tore straight through him.

Mesereau asked the boy Tuesday about an alarm system in Jackson’s house that alerts the singer when anyone is in the hall outside his bedroom.

“So the two times you claim you saw Michael Jackson touching your brother in bed, that alarm went off?” asked Mesereau.

1. Lying under oath is totally different.
2. The onus of proof is on the prosecutors, not the defendent. Credibility is much, much more important for the prosecution witness. It creates a reasonable doubt, which is what is all that's needed for a not guilty verdict.

He actually said he witnessed Michael molesting his brother, so he is important. The defense is slowly trying to get him to slowly start backing off statements he's made. That'll just crush his testimony, and it'll really come down to the brother vs. MJ. And considering all the baggage the family is already carrying, mother admitting to lying, the mother getting her kids to lie in court in previous lawsuits ect. this case will just tumble down.

Agreed...Jackson thinks sleeping with kids is a nuturing, caring thing, when it's pretty fucking freaky. I've always believed that's as far as it's gone with him. I certainly don't buy into the idea that he drugged up kids, then hit 'em raw.

The question I've always asked, and the question that others want to avoid even when it's fucking obvious, is why these parents decided to let their kid stay with Michael Jackson in the face of all the previous rumours, allegations and innuendo about the same sort of things he's being charged for now? Put another way, even if you think he's innocent...would YOU send your kid to stay with this guy unattended for even a week? I sure as fuck wouldn't...unless I wanted to fish some dough out of his ass.

Anyway, we'll see where this goes...either way someone's gonna be eating crow before too long.
