After seeing how terrible Colin Farrell did in Daredevil, I don't think I ever want to watch another movie with him in it. He did a good job in Phone Booth, but I think that's it for him. God I can't believe how bad he was in Daredevil...

i have faith in the director, it's th emovie itself that worries me. how long will they keep beating this horse on TV remakes?

I mean, I really loved Miami Vice back in the 80's and that's where it belongs. If this is to be a movie I'd set it during the 80's and run with it.

I'm just disappointed they haven't tried and A-team movie yet.

Sounds good, Mann's films have been great lately. Now that he's remade his TV movie/pilot L.A. Takedown as Heat, and is working on Miami Vice for the big screen, he should give his "Crime Story" series a movie adaptation too. Damn, that was a classic underappreciated show.

I was waiting for somebody to point out that Heat was a remake. Unlike Lucas, when Mann revisited his work he made it better.

I'm willing to reserve judgement on this one.

And Jarhead is going to make an interesting war movie, it'll be very different than our expectations of the genre.
