You forgot about sony threads, judaism, and anything pro-conservative/politics. Shitstorms waiting to happen. My views are different than a lot of Gaffers so I stay away from them and just let the circle jerk happen rather than stir the pot.

Another big one I forgot is the sexual orientation threads (homosexuality, transgender issues, and so on). I don't agree with some of the views either but it's a private forum not a committee so it is what it is and we'll have to deal. Wrasslegaf, NBAgaf, NFLgaf are like 90% of my posts now. Great communities although NFLgaf is elitist.

You're right NOren you're absolutely right, gaming side isn't neutral at all. It's impossible to be over there.

I they do over post a lot (Yeah like you Blamespace and Timedog). I do too but it's out of loneliness so I have a excuse.

at least some of the gaf factions i'm in aren't well complicated and it's pretty calm. Can't say the same for all the stupid big name arguing pits.

This is kinda true. I mean, look at Wario, dude would be banned otherwise if he wasn't a "gaf celeb". But a lot of it has to do with the moderators as well, it's more or less at their discretion. I could say something (that isn't a troll at all) Bish doesn't give a fuck about, but if it pisses Opiate off then I'd be banned.

Anyway, I almost post exclusively in WrassleGAF now but will post in other OT threads if the topic is something I'm interested in or whatever (ie "Like The Hat vs. NeoGAF Weight Loss" thing).



Speaking of DDP and his Yoga - does anyone here do that stuff? I keep meaning to try it but I never do! Any starting points?

Pretty much.

Yoga stuff: Never done the DDP yoga stuff but P90X does have yoga involved. By far the toughest part for me. Made me sweat the most. Really tough, especially at first, and I found SO boring. But, after a few tries you feel so fucking good. It really is invigorating and can help with back pain, muscle aches, etc.

Definitely. Even the X-Stretch is great. It's help with posture, back pain, neck pain, it's all really good. Good way to give you a boost of energy, too.

One last off-topic contribution. While trying to see why frankman was banned, I found this gem of a post. Did a mod just out a snitch? So, who's the wrasslegaf equivalent?

Yes, I make exceptions for few modern games, sides that I'm I am Purely Anti-Modern gaming and pro retro gaming.

Probably another reason I won't fit in at gaming side.

We have no snitch. There's nothing to snitch on. Midnight Wrassle-GAF was despised by all, save a few people going against the grain just for the sake of it. We all love each other here, despite our flaws.

I'm going to say that the 1999 rumble was kind of poor, it was horribly lacking in star power, the Austin and McMahon stuff helps give it a boost but for the most part I find it kind of boring.

Cole started out as mostly awkward on commentary when he took over for JR and then he did alright... and then well, we all now how he is today.

Horrible use of Kane and Undertaker as well, Taker isn't even in the thing, apparently getting Viscera to join his jobber cult was more important and then you have the men from the asylum coming for Kane which leads to a very poor self elimination. Aside from Austin they were like the only other main event talent available for the rumble Since Rock and Mankind were busy maiming each other.

Side note: Damn do I hate the end of the 2003 Rumble where Kane gets suckered out the rumble by Undertaker in the most half assed way possible, no wonder he buried him alive later that year. Then Taker screwed over himself by just kind of standing there afterwards making no effort to turn around and then just sort of chuckles that Lesnar threw him out in such an anticlimactic fashion. ABA Taker was good but 2003 Biker Taker sucked, Kane was right that he did just become some ordinary guy.

To me, that was a funny time because it was around the time you had the whole expose on NBC that showed wrestling as fake, the internet was starting to become a regular household thing so you had a lot of shit spoiled (ie the internet knew the Benoit and co. were going to be on Raw).

But, I didn't really frequent any forums and what not so I'm not sure what the reaction was to Vince winning. I can only imagine how GAF would react lol
