Technically he never left since he's in a producer role if I'm not mistaken. Still, I loved me some Noble since he was a damn good worker and was able to turn some shitty gimmicks/stories into comedy gold.

I don't really remember Noble at all. I think he came to the WWE after I stopped watching.

He was in Jung Dragons in WCW, right? Their feud with 3 Count was pretty good I guess.

We're arguing about the state of WrassleGAF again? OH GOODY!

FUCK. Apparently D.Brine wrestled Jamie Noble at a house show last night. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu I wanna see that.

Goddamn, would love to see that on TV. Noble is one of the most poorly-used wrestlers WWE have had in years. He deserved more than his stature would allow, but I'm glad he earned a place in the running of things behind the scenes.

If Frankman and his realism was a disease, all of the garbage one-liners, gif spam, crappy SvR e-fed, Heavy trolling and WWE/TNA product at the moment is a goddamn black plague upon humanity. Frankman at least spoke the truth about the product and avoided the garbage schtick.

I'm glad you and your three posts in the thread contribute so much more than any of those meddlesome things.

I never did understand why they hire guys like Steamboat, Malenko, and Gibson to be agents if they're just going to have to lay every match out to WWE Style guidelines.

I have respect for all your hustles, and I'm so loyal to you WrassleGAF. <3

i liked santino's idea about a cage inside a cage inside a cage, daniel bryan is already getting more heel heat than mark henry, he is an awesome heel

There's a reason I quit posting. When this thread turned from professional wrestling discussion to midnight comedy hour fueled by people who make Hornswaggle look entertaining. I check in from time to time and get a good laugh out of the carnival of stupidity. Aside from Bobo, Bootaay and a couple others, this community became a joke. But people shitting on Frankman for his negativity is laughable considering he was one of the few that actually discussed wrestling instead of partaking in the stupidity.

Yawn.

I respect you and your snarkiness towards me DM. In fact I love it.

So you call me out for not contributing, but reply by simply posting a stupid one-liner. Point made.
I call BS on your post. Frankly, there just isn't much to talk about, so people will fill it with having fun. There's been multiple times where this thread would randomly break out into 10 or so pages of serious discussion. When something comes up worth talking about, it gets done. Until then, let the wrasslin themed craziness go on.

I think Noble is still selling the Celtic Cross. If he ever comes back to tv, Sheamus's monster push would have been for nothing.

I was with you up until that last sentence. Maybe there was a point in time where he discussed things, but how many times could he make a post that simply replaced words in some wrestler's promo and then put a mark henry gif or something under it? Just as silly as anything else that's gone on in here.

There have been 10 times more nostalgia stream posts than G-Fex's stuff ever had in here. Equally as "useless" to the thread.
I don't even mind the stream stuff. That at least had some discussion about some event that happened or a great match to watch. The e-fed stuff was greatly annoying, let's be honest here. It had its own business for its own thread (it was an inside joke for five or so posters), and thankfully it went there.

The other thing that's something to note, if I would call somebody out for a dumb idea or somebody constantly posting gifs, it's the same line "o i forgot, this place is srs bizness". Are people that thin skinned or can people not accept fucking criticism? At certain times last year, the quality of posting was so low most of regular posters were absent because of the mess.

Actually, I'm not getting into this. I know precisely how it's going to go, word for word. It's like describing a John Cena match, and I don't like John Cena matches.

The thread is what it is. Insulting the participants will change nothing.

This isn't the first time he's done this, it's a monthly thing, most enjoy the thread how it is, so just let him move on.

Come on guys, can't we all just get along? :(

I never did understand why they hire guys like Steamboat, Malenko, and Gibson to be agents if they're just going to have to lay every match out to WWE Style guidelines.

Yeah, it's really odd - they obviously appreciate the technical wrestling minds and ability guys like that have, only to have them plan out matches in the formulaic WWE style. I think they're value goes beyond just being agents though, in the Paul London/Brian Kendrick shoot they mention that Gibson regularly holds training sessions backstage and often runs rings around some of the top guys in the company with his technical ability.

WCW triple cage style?? o.O

Or... Kennel in a cell? lolz

well, wcw's triple cell was awesome, but a triple cage where you have to get a pinfall in one, go to the next one and go out the door, and then finally climb over the last one could be interesting, although it would take up a huge amount of space so it could never happen

This is the only "community" that just devolves into discussion that's barely above drooling stupidity. I've never seen another community where mods have had to come in and threaten to ban people to put a stop to things. Granted, wrestling = serious business is laughable considering the nature of the product. But there was a time when there was intelligent discussion tempered with stupid shit. That balance has shifted drastically toward the latter over the last six to eight months. It's also evidenced by how many new posters are in here as opposed to older posters that used to come in more often.

I was with you up until that last sentence. Maybe there was a point in time where he discussed things, but how many times could he make a post that simply replaced words in some wrestler's promo and then put a mark henry gif or something under it? You have me there. He has done some stupid shit. But he would still engage in credible discussion more often than not.

Actually, I'm not getting into this. I know precisely how it's going to go, word for word. It's like describing a John Cena match, and I don't like John Cena matches.

The thread is what it is. Insulting the participants will change nothing.
So...you call me out for not contributing. I contribute, you refuse to prove me wrong. I would love to be proven wrong and interesting discussion come back. It happens on occasion, but it's as rare as a four leaf clover.

I need to watch that damn shoot. I keep putting it off.

Aw shit.

This thread is way too up its own ass about this stuff. Who cares? There's plenty of "serious" discussion to go around with the insanity. Everyone just stfu and post.

But...but...how will he get the most posts of the month without posting one liners. This thread got dumb when people started cutting promos on each other.

There was one month Plywood had the most posts. I believe that was the month Bish came in and implemented the gif limit. G-Fex also had similarly high post. Bootaay and Bobo aren't at the top of the post count. They're the two most intelligent posters in here. Penguin is toward the bottom and is one of the most intelligent wrestling viewers I've known. The same goes for Striker. Post count doesn't mean he's contributing anymore than someone with half his posts.

Agreed

I actually agree with JD. Having a few fun posts is alright, but many of you pretty much crossed the line. I'm having a hard time deciding whether I should continue to contribute in this thread with my dumb posts or not.

I wonder how many people actually take Gibson up on his training sessions knowing that the skills he can teach them really aren't usable in WWE.

Speaking of Scott Stanford, they need to have him and Matt Stirke commentate on Raw. If King decides to act like his old self, then I wouldn't mind him staying.

There's one wrestling thread. It's a hodgepodge of everything, from memes to efeds to "intelligent discussion", to general stupid shit. If you're only looking for one of these things, you're just gonna have to suck it up and wade through the rest. It's not going anywhere.

I might natter away during live events with inane chatter, but on the off peak hours I do my best to contribute with actual discussion. I'm not knowledgeable about non-WWE wrestling from Japan or the indies or TNA (lol), so my contribution is speculation half the time, and maybe that's not very helpful to the superior members of the discussion, but there's not much I can do about that, and I like talking about wrestling too much to stop.

Now, you cut that out, Bootaaay. I've been serving my time for a while as Portia Perez's one-man viral marketing team here on WrassleGAF, and I don't need you stealing my fucking gimmick.

...and she LOVES to be booed. Seriously. She LOVES it. I boo her with the heat of 1,000 suns every time I get a chance, and you can tell it just makes her fucking night. I will be booing her on the 19th.

I just love when they get booed whit their Canadian Ninjas theme song:

Just look at the heat they get XD.

Stanford has always been a decent guy on commentary. Josh Matthews is another, which is why I don't like them jamming Michael Cole down our throats each episode and on Smackdown.
