Yeah, Tatanka had a good run but clearly got depushed...I'm not surprised why.

also, random: I never watched most of the WCW PPVs, this Curt Hennig/Ric Flair match had a lot of tired selling filler, but pretty good. I forgot how stiff Mr. Perfect's matches were...

edit: I was trying to be first post on this page, should've hit refresh.

Damn right it is!

So last PPV going into the Royal Rumble...

Matches for the Rumble so far:
Punk vs. Ziggler
D.Brine vs. Big Show vs. Mark Henry in a cage (or something, right?)
Sheamus vs. Barrett ?
John Cena vs. Kane
Royal Rumble

EDIT: While looking for any other matches I missed I came across this:

- WWE officials have apparently decided to drop the Money in the Bank pay-per-view this July and replace it with another concept - the TLC pay-per-view. As noted before, they have been planning to bring the Money in the Bank ladder match back at WrestleMania this year.

Unless the schedule changes again, Vengeance will be replacing TLC in December for this year.

Good stuff.

Updated the World War III stream to include some other WCW PPVs from that year, in order. Enjoy friends~

Any match with Perry Saturn is 5 stars!

Johnny Gargano is out of the PPV so there have been some changes....and they're good changes.

Effected Matches on Original Card:

Dream Six Man Match
Ronin of DGUSA Champion Johnny Gargano, Chuck Taylor & Rich Swann vs. AR Fox & The Young Bucks of Nick & Matt Jackson

Special Challenge Match
BxB Hulk vs. Sami Callihan

Updated Card:
Open The United Gate Title Match
CIMA & Ricochet defend vs. Masaaki Mochizuki & Jimmy Susumu (Yokosuka)

"Mercury Rising 2011" Rematch
PAC vs. Akira Tozawa

Grudge Match
Masato Yoshino vs. Naruki Doi

Anything Goes Match
AR Fox vs. Sami Callihan

Special Attraction Match
Low Ki vs. BxB Hulk

Tag Team Attraction
Chuck Taylor & Rich Swann of Ronin vs. The Young Bucks of Nick & Matt Jackson

Bonus Match
Jon Davis vs. Caleb Konley with Larry Dallas

Would have preferred Low Ki vs Callihan, but it makes sense storyline-wise to put Sami against AR Fox. Both matches should deliver though, and I think I actually prefer Ronin vs TYB as a tag match instead of a 6-man.

Matches for the Rumble so far:
"Best in the World" CM Punk vs. "The Show-off" Ziggler
"Gusty" D.Brine vs. "The World's Largest athlete" Big Show vs. "The World's Largest Strongest Athlete" Mark Henry in a cage
"The Great White" Sheamus vs. "The Barrett Barrage" (Is this one actually a match or is it just a Rumble feud?)
"Let's go" John Cena "Sucks" vs. "The World's Fieriest Athlete" Kane
The Most Important Royal Rumble ever in history match
Fixed for marketing.

Not 100% sure about Sheamus vs. Barrett - it would make sense for them to have a match.

Well if they do I hope it's one of those "loser doesn't get to be in the rumble, winner gets to be at the back end of the rumble" matches.

Even if the loser pretty much always just beats up some jobber in the back and enters anyway

Shane was the shit, an absolute treat to watch in the ring. His match with Angle at King of the Ring was one of my favorites as a kid. He was a smart dude though, saw the writing on the wall and bailed out.

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling has announced Nashville will be home for “Lockdown 2012” presented by Direct Auto Insurance. The annual live, all steel cage pay-per-view extravaganza is scheduled for Sunday night, April 15, at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. This will be TNA Wrestling’s first televised event from Nashville since 2007. Tickets for “Lockdown 2012” start at $15 and go on sale Friday, January 27 at all Ticketmaster outlets or ticketmaster.com.

“Lockdown 2012” is promised to be the most brutal pay-per-view event of the year featuring every match contested inside a 15-foot reinforced steel cage, making it the only all-steel cage pay-per-view event in professional wrestling. The TNA World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line and two teams will compete in a “Lethal Lockdown” match for an unforgettable night of action. TNA Wrestling began in Nashville in the summer of 2002 and this June marks the tenth year anniversary. Fans can celebrate 10 years of body-slams with TNA’s weekly flagship show, IMPACT WRESTLING airing every Thursday night on Spike.

The reigning TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Roode, leads the invasion of IMPACT WRESTLING stars including Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair along with Tennessee native “Cowboy” James Storm, Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, “The Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, Rob Van Dam, the lovely and lethal Knockouts and more.

“TNA Entertainment couldn’t be more pleased to announce one of our most exciting events of the year “Lockdown” will be live from Nashville on April 15th. To be able to offer the fans of our hometown such a powerful night of explosive action is thrilling,” said TNA President Dixie Carter. “We are going to celebrate 10 years in Nashville with one of our biggest pay-per-view events to date.”

“As the presenting sponsor for ‘Lockdown 2012,’ we’re thrilled about the return of TNA to the Nashville market,” stated Direct Auto Insurance Senior Vice President of Marketing Peter Tahinos. “Our corporate headquarters is located here in Nashville as are many long standing Direct Auto customers who are also loyal wrestling fans.”
Tickets for “TNA Lockdown 2012” go on sale Friday, January 27 at 10am, at all TicketMaster locations, www.TicketMaster.com, the Nashville Municipal Auditorium box office or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000
"TNA Lockdown Fan InterAction” will be taking place on Saturday, April 14th with details to be announced soon. “Fan InterAction” is a popular fan friendly event giving fans a chance to meet many of the stars of TNA IMPACT WRESTING.

TNA will also be offering a limited number of travel packages that will include lodging and tickets to Lockdown. Full details of the travel package offers are available at www.shoptna.com

If you're not going to Mania, there is always Lockdown.

Lethal Lockdown is my least favourite "special" main event on any pay-per-view.

Each one has:
  1. AJ Styles or someone similar doing the table spot on top of the cage
  2. "Oh my god Jeff Jarrett's gotten the guitar from the ceiling"
  3. The heels are up two to one in there, will our hero be able to last until his partner enters to even the odds?
  4. The heels are up three to two in there, will our heroes be able to last until their partner enters to even the odds?

And nothing memorable or consequential happens

You forgot that the face captain always enters last.

I always liked Shane-O-Mac. Let's not fool ourselves though, he was a spot monkey. I dunno why he was so damn crazy but man, he was great. Still...I see where he also was a problem.

So who is the better McMahon? Vince or Shane? From a rasslin perspective. Hell...let's also bring storylines into it.

Shane > Vince

Vince is one of the greatest heels, not just of the past decade, but perhaps of all-time.
He played his role to perfection and was more than willing to take his share of abuse.

Shane on the other hand, was far more entertaining in the ring. And has more memorable moments.

Storyline/personality
Vince>Shane

In-ring work/psychology
Shane>Vince

Vince>Shane overall just because he did it longer.

I'm going to have to agree with this all. You can't beat Vince's heel. He was totally disgusting.

But, in the ring Shane managed to tell some good stories.

-WWE will begin filming Legends show in the former home of comedian and actor Harpo Marx at the Tamarisk Country Club in Rancho Mirage, CA next month, according to The Desert Sun newspaper in California.

I know where this is and about 20 minutes away from my house. Too bad it's in the country club.

Roddy Piper and Iron Sheik staying in the nicest place they've ever slept. Drama!

Shane McMahon is Jeff Hardy with more wrestling ability and a better character.
