THERrrrrE HERrrrE

Dammit, Morrison. Back with her? You are dead to me!

Thanks for the links Bobo, not a bad first show. That Veera guy looked pretty terrible in his match with Dr. Dinsmore, but the crowd are behind him (although that's not saying much considering how they seem to be hot for pretty much everything). Chris Masters is playing 'The American Adonis' and is doing a gimmick where he pulls 'fans' out of the audience to try and break his 'Adonis Lock' - this went over pretty well, and the plant they pulled got thrown about like rag doll. Magnus, Dutt & Steiner seem to be in a faction together - they show Brutus assuring someone over the phone that between the 3 of them they'll have control of Ring Ka King. Says "when all's said and done" about a dozen times. Steiner screams incoherently. Magnus vs Morgan wasn't too bad, Steiner & Dutt come out post-match to confront Morgan, but that Veera guy makes the save to presumably set up a tag match on the next episode.

Yeah, the first part screamed bollywood production. Also, the first match was bad. Also, I see Magnus jobs to Crimson and Morgan in two continents. The production is top notch compared to impact wrestling.

Had a few more entrants for the Rumble, (continue to be surprised by how many people want in) so I wanted to post the updated list along with another reminder.

If you want in give me a PM. I'm heading out pretty soon. So if you just post in the thread, I may miss it.

This is my first Rumble and I'm here to let all of you know that even though some of you veterans think you have this taken care of, I'm going to overcome. See the Rumble isn't about strength or skill - it's about mental ability. Just because I am almost seven feet tall, I'm a target - but I know how to make that work for me and I'll manipulate my way through the Rumble to be the winner!

Well Ring Ka King is a lot of fun - I always like a hot crowd, and a clean slate to reinvent people and their characters. It had some rough spots, but I'm all in for the next episode and like I said, it's just a lot of fun.

HUZZA! I'M IN!

Yeah, the announcers seem excited and I like how they introduced all the wrestlers at the beginning for the audience. Here is the 720p version someone uploaded http://youtu.be/bC9jp6ldPKs

people in england have no lives/nothing better to do confirmed

WTF? When did this swerve happen? You've been suckling on TNA's teat harder than anyone in this thread for months.

Did you look out your window and see Titan Tower gleaming in the sunset and finally realize the error in your ways?

The first episode of Ring Ka King kept me amused. Nothing much action-wise but the novelty works and it is fascinating seeing a brand new audience getting to watch wrestling. I found it hilarious when American Adonis forgot how much the prize money for his challenge was. The programme could end up falling into the same trap as TNA when it comes to showing too much non-match segments but for now it was fun to watch and I want to see what happens next.

The commentary felt jarring at times when it would suddenly switch from Indian to English for 3 or 4 words then switch back to Indian. It's odd that I would find it so distracting as I often watch wrestling with commentary done in languages like Japanese, Spanish and German. They too would sometimes throw in English words to call moves but in Ring Ka King it feels like English phrases are added in randomly (besides the occassional "Oh my God"). I'll probably get used to it.

Impact Spoilers for 2/2 and 2/9

IMPACT Wrestling TAPING für den 02.02.2012

IMPACT starts with Bully Ray & Bobby Roode come out telling us we'll never see Jeff Hardy again after what happened last week. Roode calls out James Storm. Storm comes and then Sting comes out. Sting announces Bobby Roode vs. Bully Ray vs. James Storm vs. Jeff Hardy for Against All Odds. Tonight we'll see Storm wrestle Roode & Ray on singles matches.

1. NON TITLE MATCH: Samoa Joe & Magnus def. Crimson & "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan

Rules of the match are that the winners of a coin toss can compete under tornado rules, the other team standard tag rules. Samoa Joe/Magnus won toss. Magnus pinned Matt Morgan.

2. NON TITLE MATCH: Austin Aries def. Mark Haskins

Mark Haskins is now wrestling in normal trunks and isn't he rock star persona he has been in the past. Haskins missed a shooting press that was similar to Lesnar/Angle. Austin Aries won with brain buster into a last chancery submission (ala what he did in ROH)

3. NON TITLE MATCH: Bobby Roode def. James Storm

Roode defeat Storm by pin with a spear following Bully Ray getting in loved behind the refs back. Afterwards Ray gives stirm a urinagi onto the world Title belt. Sting comes out to save the day and make Ray and Roode leave.

Eric Bischoff is in the building and calls out Garett Bischoff. Eric talked about how Garetts goals became a fantasy (crowd chats BORING very loudly). Garett calls his trainer on a phone to confirm his trainer is in the building as Eric reckons he isn't. His trainer will be revealed later.

4. NON TITLE MATCH: Tara def. Gail Kim

Tara defeated Gail Kim with widows peak after Madison Rayne accidentally hit Tara.

5. MATCH: "The Cowboy" James Storm def. Bully Ray

During match Roode comes out to watch but so does Sting... with a black cricket bat! Crowd also chant "You Fat Bastard" at Ray. Storm manages to hit super kick for the win.

Garett Bischoff comes out, is interrupted by Eric Bischoff who is now with Gunner. Hulk Hogan comes out, beats up Gunner a but tried to get Eric but Gunner gets him to safety. Crowd went nuts for this! Hogan is the trainer of Garrett.

IMPACT Wrestling TAPING für den 09.02.2012

1. MATCH: Christopher Daniels def. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles

Daniels beat AJ by hitting him with brass Knicks while being set up for a power bomb. The knicks were (reluctantly) handed to him by Kazarian.

Bully Ray comes out in street clothes. Ray calls out Roode and is pisses at him. Ray complains that Roode didn't have his back despite Roode promising he would. Roode said he was there for him. Roode says his problem is with Sting not him. Sting comes out, cricket bat in hand, and announces he is the special enforcer for the PPV. Also booked for later in the show: Bobby Roode & Bully Ray vs. James Storm & Sting. Lots of problems between Roode and Ray at the of segment... then they hug.

2. NON TITLE MATCH - 3 WAY: Alex Shelley def. Douglas Williams and Austin Aries

Alex Shelley beat Austin Aries and Douglas Williams. Shelley pinned Aries with Alice bread. Doug also hit a chaos theory on Shelley during match!

Magnus/Samoa Joe come out and proclaim while they're on the UK tour, tonight this is England as Magnus can say he's come up. Magnus talked about how they proved doubters wrong and became a well oiled machine. They officially announced they going to become the new tag champs at the PPV. Crimson/Matt Morgan came out said they're done talk and got a small beating on Magnus/Joe. Joe saved Magnus from taking a double chokeslam.

3. MATCH: Velvet Sky def. Mickie James

Hulk Hogan & Garett Bischoff come out. Hogan talks about the reaction he's been getting and asks the fans to give that same love to Garrett. Hogan talks about how he's known Garrett since he met Eric... Leading to Eric Bischoff & Gunner interrupting. Eric asks Hogan what gives him the right to get involved in this matter. Hogan says it isn't about him, but his son and Hogan has now seen the error of his ways. He's talked with Sting and he's given the right to book a match at the PPV. It's going to be Garett Bischoff vs. Gunner at Against All Odds. An brawl breaks out with Eric low blowing Hogan. Gunner beats down Garett and we get Hogan laying out Eric and throwing Gunner out the ring. Garett then knocks down Eric after Hogan picked him up. Garett has been getting severely booed all night, so a lot of post production will be needed to make this sound good.

4. MATCH: Sting & "The Cowboy" James Storm def. Bully Ray & Bobby Roode

RIP Sting. You've been past your prime for 20 years, but you should not have gone out like this.

Please don't pull a Ric Flair either. You KNOW what I'm talking about

Currently watching the 2002 Royal Rumble. Me and my friends always joked about how Maven was never eliminated due to the Taker beatdown. Turns out Maven actually was eliminated from the match when Taker rolled him back into the ring and then threw him over the top rope.

Holy crap, I scrolled all the way down the page, and I really thought Sting had died. Fuck is wrong with you people? What a relief to know that it's just an injury.
