In sadder news:

Key WWE officials are lobbying for Mason Ryan to receive a renewed push. He is expected to be prominently featured tomorrow night in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match.

Ryan's last push was curtailed following the Survivor Series, which saw the Madison Square Garden crowd favor Cody Rhodes over him during a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match. Since that time he has sporadically competed on WWE Superstars and non-televised events.

Meanwhile, Brodus Clay is scheduled to perform his animated entrance prior to entering the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match.

Mixed feelings about the sting reports.

on the one had he is a legit legend who should deserves a final send off like WWE gave flair and HBK.

But.... he was been wasting away in TNA the last few years to the point I just want to see his career over.

From the sounds of things he was thinking of retiring for real this year so its kind of sad if this ruined those plans but then again he was been thinking about it for years now but always resigned for another year.

Didn't Edge also suffer the same injury Sting did? Obvously the age difference is a key issue, but miracles can happen.

In other news, I got bored a little while ago and decided to check for the time I trolled WrestleGAF. Then I thought to Google the quote because "why the fuck not." Apparently I had two other places fooled.

*shrug* And that's my WEIO post of the day.

GAF -> Internet -> GAF is a blessing and a curse.

Sting was legit injured in tonight's main event of the TNA tapings.

In a match for the Feb 9th go-home Impact,
it was Sting & Storm over Roode & Ray. Sting blew out his heel in an innocuous looking spot. Sting made Roode submit in the scorpion for the finish, then ref Brian Hebner did the X sign with his arms and sprinted down the aisle to the back to get help. Sting did a brief promo praising the fans, then said he'd heard something pop in his heel. Sting then brawled very gingerly with Bully Ray to the back, scuppering what appeared to be a Hogan & Sting & Storm vs Roode & Ray & Angle dark match. Instead, Hogan & Storm did a 2 on 3 cleaning house, before the Hogan pose down.

what the hell happened? The Cat eliminated himself or something? I didn't see anyone grab him to throw him over.

What are you, blind? The Cat was thrown out by Orton.

His servant on the other hand went flying after his afro when it mysteriously blew off of his head. ;)

Still awake... tired... gonna force body to want to be awake at 4AM tomorrow!
Still awake, slightly tired, i'm thinking that i'm ready for the ppv night shift.

Cena wins his match, but Kane is the number 30 entrant, and hits everyone with fireballs and lightning bolts to win the Rumble.
Well anything less than this is going to be a let down now, just imagining people getting fireballed over the top rope has me most amused, I wonder how Ziggler would sell such things?
