So, I will be going to the Royal Rumble tomorrow! It will be my first pro wrestling event of all time.

So we know Mick Foley is going to be in it, and maybe the New Age Outlaws. Any other surprises?
 
Hurricane was hillarious in his feud with The Rock. I was pleasently surprised that of all the people on Raw, they chose The Hurricane to feud with The Rock.

So anyway, since we're hitting pretty close to 20000 posts, have we decided on what to do if we hit 20000? I can see us easily passing that during the rumble. I think I read a few pages back about having a separate Rumble OT which sounds great.
 
I hope some TNA guys jump ship.

Or some ex WWE guys jump back.


The best thing about Nash and Booker at lasts years rumble was TNA frantically rewriting the angle they where building towards after it happened.

Hope for the usual "surprises" and something interesting to happen, but I think I'll just read the report instead of trying to watch.
 
I just bought tickets for Smackdown in Columbus on March 13th. I'll be sitting across from the hard camera, section 104, row G, seats 11-14. I'm half tempted to buy tickets for Raw the night before. I had no idea it was in Cleveland until Bill mentioned it earlier.

How many of you are having friends over to watch the Royal Rumble tonight? I'm having my usual group of people over who watch Raw in addition to a couple others. We plan on making a ton of food and coming up with some games to play during the rumble match itself. I probably won't be able to lurk/chat on here as much as I would like, but I'll at least be on to talk shit when my rumble pick is called :lol

I didn't know Smackdown was in C-bus the next night. That's a very tempting, I might be going to that. I think it's going to be me and my bro tonight watching the Rumble. Might have a friend or two over who occasionally watch wrestling but not many friends keep up with it. Which means I'll be spending the Rumble with you guy's!

Looking forward to the Rumble tonight though I'm trying not to get myself too hyped up in the case it ends up being shitty.
 
Nick Dinsmore would be an awesome addition to the WWE roster. He is still a great wrestler. Sticking him with the Eugene gimmick is like choosing to debut CM Punk as Doink the Clown

No way, Dolphs going to win the WWE Title and the Rumble. PPV will end with Dolph doing a handstand on the top rope pointing at the Wrestlemania logo.

I loved that gimmick. It was kid friendly and he didn't seem like an asshole when he came out. I do like the no gimmick Gregory Helms but the neck injury mess that up.

Truth paid him off to get lost and cut one of the most evil promos ever.

I didn't even watch the first segment because the audio and video were fucked up.
 
I've got the all clear to stay up til 4am to watch this tonight. My woman can drive herself to work for once. I can't fucking wait. Only this and Wrestlemania get the "stay-up-all-night" treatment.
