The best part of that is Jericho smiling even harder once his jacket lights up.

A bit of an odd topic but from him talking on the Observer shows he actually seems like hes really into healthy food and exercise. On the christmas Bryan and Vinny show Vinny was reading out the ingredients of some health bars he had gotten in.
Well in that case, he is still skinny.

If you NWA fans are interested, I majorly updated the OP in the NWA thread with everyone's pictures and newly added people to the Roster (Eradicoil and Heavy).

And I just posted the cards for the Dimension of the Slammed PPV tomorrow. It's time for me to step toe to toe with those PCW guys

Nice, I'm stoked!!

So I made a gif of WrassleGAF for that glorious day when we all mark out over the same thing:

It will never happen.

Bryan Alvarez is only relevant because he's latched on to Dave Meltzer. His passion for pro wrestling is long gone from the Eyada days and I honestly believe he only keeps up with it because he earns a pretty good living off of it doing wacky bullshit with his buddies on the audio shows. You can tell MMA is his passion now, which I don't fault him for. I just think he's severely overrated when it comes to being a reporter in the the wrestling business.

Even Meltzer you can tell puts MMA first, wrestling second now-a-days, but at least he still does a reasonably good job of keeping up with the wrestling biz and offers scoops on pretty much a weekly basis.

Does seem to be shifting more to MMA as their focus but it could just be that MMA is hot right now whereas wrestling is at a pretty low point.

There are so many Taker haters here. :|

My only gripe with Current Taker is that his 2004 Deadman redux was like the bare minimum of character change and that they've been going with it ever since which is kind of boring now considering he never really gets to do any other promo than "I will defeat you, Rest in Peace".
But that aside Taker's great, he still manages to put on good matches and is a WM highlight, i'm just kind of irked that they'll be potentially retreading last years match, as a fan of taker i'd rather see him fight someone else considering his last WWE match was in fact HHH at WM. This in turn lessens my hype for Taker's return, so basically blame HHH.

I don't know...I thought it was funny: The exaggerated smiling and pandering. The crowd manipulation.

I like that the WWE.com promo is more of the same: Smiling Jericho with his cool, light-up jacket.
He was being David Lee Roth when he came back to Van Halen. 20 minutes of silence and sucking in the crowd. If it has anything to do with his character, I'd be really surprised. He even acknowledged it on Twitter.

does it really need the name sheamus on the poster lol.

I agree that current Taker is getting a little stale, but we only see him for two months. I wouldn't mind him changing his gimmick when returning, or at least come up with a way to make the his gimmick fresh, but I doubt he'd want that. His returns are only for Wrestlemania now these days. Also, I agree with HHH being the one to blame. I want someone new. He could help someone get a push, or end his career with Kane. Triple H just wants to be the one who ended.

That's true. I'm sure that has some to do with it, but almost on a weekly basis when they're doing show reviews, Alvarez can't even remember what happened on the show he just supposedly watched. I could let the average person slide for that but this is his job, and he makes a damn good living off of it as a so-called "expert." He should be able to at least pay attention to it for 2 hours a day here and there (even as little as 1:20 if you fast forward through commercials).

I swear I didn't know about this poster when I was making my Power Rangers comments last night.

The concept is ok, but the facial expression is pretty bad. With his head dipped that much, he needed a more serious look. Or keep the same grin and have him raise his head.

But what if Jericho isnt trolling and this super exited smiley guy is actually his new character?

Like he thinks he is the best and thinks the fans love him even though they are booing him?

edit.... wait a minute.... THATS CENA. Y2J is the greatest troll ever

Big Dave was wondering why WWE didn't fly Jericho in on their jet and hide him the way the usually do when they have a surprise to unveil and the reason is kind of funny:

Just for the record, the idea (was just told this from people who were told the call was made not to do the private jet because they thought they had a plan that would work) was to hide him by flying him in to Nashville on Sunday instead of Memphis on Sunday or Monday, have the limo pick him up and hide him until it was time.

They didn't figure somebody would take a photo of him at an airport 220 miles away.

This just shows how out of touch WWE is with technology and the "WWE Universe" and Twitter. Pretty funny to me.

The more I think about it, the more I think they're going to bring Cena into this somehow.

I didn't listen to it yet but thought some of you might enjoy it.
