somebody needs to jack Ravishing Rick Rude's gimmick. I'm thinking Heath Slater.

It's funny watching American wrestlers go to Japan and develop "warrior screams" out of nowhere. Davey Richards and Shelton Benjamin let out 2 of the strangest noises on this card so far :lol

Impact is tonight!

TNA Knockouts champion Gail Kim and Madison Rayne vs. Mickie James and Traci Brooks

Gunner vs. Rob Van Dam

Zema Ion and Jesse Sorensen vs. X-Division champ Austin Aries and Kid Kash

Wild Card Tournament Finals: Magnus and Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles and Kazarian

Jeff Hardy, James Storm and Abyss vs. Bobby Roode, Bully Ray and Kurt Angle
Looks like at least a couple of good matches on this one.

New incoherent Briscoe Brothers promo;

#DemBoys

To rip off a scene from Blazing Saddles:

"Now who can argue with that? I think we're all in debt to Mark Briscoe for stating what needed to be said. I am particulary glad that these lovely children are here today to hear that speech. Not only was it authentic frontier gibberish, it expressed the courage little seen in this day and age."

...

Briscoes are the best gimmick in wrestling today.

Shinsuke Nakamura is so good. By far my favorite wrestler to watch right now. Everything he does is hilarious, and his moveset is badass.

Wrestle Kingdom VI was a great show. Best of 2012 so far, no question.

Several TNA names have appeared in recent reports based on WWE's interest in signing the wrestlers once their TNA contracts expire. The following is a break down of reported names and WWE's actual interest (some or none), according to sources.

-- Beer Money (James Storm & Robert Roode): Last year, WWE had interest in the wrestlers as a tag team, but not as individuals. It would be interesting to see if WWE has re-scouted them as individuals following their TNA split and current singles runs.

-- Rob Van Dam: WWE has interest in bringing back RVD, who was a "free agent" when he decided to sign with TNA in March 2010.

-- Matt Morgan: WWE showed interest in Morgan in 2011, but Morgan noted in a Facebook Chat last year that he opted to "stay loyal" to TNA after being in contact with WWE.

-- Bully Ray: WWE has shown interest in Ray, who has dropped weight and done some of the best work of his career over the past 6-9 months.

-- Ink, Inc.: WWE may have interest in bringing back Shannon Moore, but Jesse Neal is viewed as a developmental prospect, at best.

-- Samoa Joe: WWE does not have interest in Joe. Joe was offered a WWE developmental contract in the early 2000s, but turned it down.

-- The Pope: WWE had interest in Pope D'Angelo Dinero last year when his career appeared to be on the rise, but Pope, who wrestled on the ECW brand as Elijah Burke, has not helped his cause by becoming lost in the shuffle in TNA.

-- Angelina Love: WWE currently does not have interest in Love, who has heat in the WWE women's locker room, according to sources. Love's TNA contract runs through the end of the year.

Twas a great game. I thought back then, that we were headed in the right direction, and that the next generation would be amazing. I have been let down up until WWE12. :(

I thought the games would be way ahead of where they are now.

At this rate this thread will hit 30,000 posts.

The games SHOULD'VE been way ahead of where they are now. I think Create-A-Finisher is the ONLY new gameplay addition they've made this entire generation. They still can't get online functions right, and we're gong on SEVEN YEARS into the Xbox 360's cycle. I look at where AKI was in terms of animation, and tightness of gameplay in Def Jam: FFNY 8 YEARS ago, and just shake my head at WWE 12. It's not a bad game, but if it wasn't for the CAW/Community Creations.....ehhhhhhhhh

You are 100% correct. This gen has been huge steps back. I thought with the career modes we saw early on during the AKI days, that we would have had some revolutionary shit going on by now.

Robert Roode - could be an amazing midcarder for the first couple of years, guy is an amazing talent and one I think the WWE fans could warm to.

Rob Van Dam - I sort of love the guy, but he's rocking a five moves of doom worse then any worker going, someone needs to force the guy to add some tradional moves into his matches.

Bully Ray - He's at his peak, such an amazing turn around.

Ink, Inc.- Jesse could be intresting in the lower end of the roaster but fuck Moore right into the ground.

Samoa Joe - This needs to happen, Joe has been booked like shit for years and looks so unmotivated and WWE recently tried to pushed the chickenshit Miz as a monster, they need someone powerful and impressive, after a couple of months in developmental (to get back in shape) Joe could do great things for them.

a couple of things:

As for Joe in WWE, I would be very interested in seeing if they maybe could catch lightning in a bottle and have a great series of matches with he and Punk but I somehow think they'd put Joe in some stupid Umaga-esque gimmick and just ruin him. Even moreso than the Nation of Violence angle.

Reading through the Jericho return posts was some of the funniest shit I've read in months. Just watching the emotions from post to post was gold.

Has anyone seen people wearing this shirt at live events yet? They've been selling it for weeks, and I swear I haven't seen it.

Stop being sad, Cena. :(

This is so true. They're trying to push finesse guys like Del Rio and The Miz as intimidating heels, but that's not how it works, especially when you book them to be as weak as possible. It's funny how they don't pick up guys like Joe and The Briscoes because Vince doesn't find them attractive, yet those are the kind of guys they need to fill the rolls they're asking for.

Or maybe, y'know, stop booking every heel to be a cheating coward.

I love RVD and I do hope he comes back into the WWE. He just needs to expand his horizons(aka move set)

Also, sorry, unless Samoa Joe gets in GREAT shape there is no chance he'll be WWE and I don't think he's all that impressive.

Bobby Roode- I see a little HBK/Ziggler in him.

RVD- My god I watched Heatwave 98 a few days ago, and He was in shape, had more than 5 moves. At one point he was my favorite wrestler alive. Seeing him now breaks my heart.

Bully Ray is indeed a surprise, and a lesson for all the older guys, you can still matter, if you know what you are doing.

INK INK, I have no opinion.

Samoa Joe- I knew in ROH he would never make it to the big show, there was never and continues to be nothing for me to like. I don't like his attitude, I don't like him in the ring, and his look is Yokozuna JR.

Poor Joe.

I remember when I used to watch ROH regularly (when it aired on the now defunct 'The Wrestling Channel' on Sky) and he was damn awesome. The matches he had against Austin Aries, his trilogy against Punk, and his stuff against Nigel McGuinness and Jay Lethal were all amazing. It really felt like you were watching special every time he wrestled. Then he moved to TNA and even though he looked more awesome, the matches were less spectacular. He looked like a damn monster though for a while

Now, nothing. He is just over 30.. he should be in his prime right now.

At least he will always have Samoa Joe vs. Essa Rios to tell his grandkids about

Joe has been in the shithouse ever since Bishoff and Hogan came into TNA. Before that, he was getting regular pushes and feuds, now he might as well be a jobber.

Could try a Samoan stable with Joe and the Usos. Bring in Rikishi as a ringleader/mentor type. Of course it's hard to imagine creative getting behind something like that.
