WWE have written up a list of 12 wrestlers to watch in 2012, I wonder how well the chosen 12 will actually fare, at this time last year it seemed like Morrison was well on the way up but things took an unexpected turn for him, anyway the list is...

Ziggler: I certainly agree with this

Eve: Well we kind of have no choice but to watch considering the small size of the diva division

Ted DiBiase: Will the DiBiase posses really pick up steam? I can't see it myself but you never know

Chris Jericho: YEAH! COME ON BABY!

Hunico: He'll need one hell of a gimmick overhaul, I don't agree with this at all, by all means prove me wrong Hunico

Wade Barrett: First English WWE champ? I sure hope so, The Barrett Barrage has my backing

Rey Mysterio: I'm still wanting that Mysterio/Cara match, with all his injuries I can't imagine Rey having much long left

Zack Ryder: He'll either continue his rise or his star will fade

Cody Rhodes: I'm all for more Dashing

Sheamus: Maybe they'll actually give him a feud at some point

Kane: IN 2012!

R-Truth: I can't see him rising above upper mid card but i'd like him to, assuming his face turn doesn't cripple his charisma.

Texas is a completely different beast than Florida though. Florida has TNA, FCW, and FIP (the former sister promotion of ROH, now affiliated with Dragon Gate USA) all running shows.

Texas doesn't have any of that. There is maybe one decently-healthy indy in each major market here, and that's it. In Austin, it's ACW, which is only interesting to me because of it's "American Joshi" division, starring Portia Perez.

There is nothing on the level of TNA and FCW running in Texas.

I am interested in her just from that poster. Unfortunately here in Los Angeles is NWA Hollywood. :(

Portia Perez.hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I just looked at the roster and they have around 42 people who could possibly compete in the Rumble this year. My predictions of the 30 men who will enter the Royal Rumble:

Booker T
Brodus Clay
Chris Jericho
Cody Rhodes
Drew Mcintyre
Epico
Evan Bourne
Ezekiel Jackson
Goldust
Heath Slater
Hunico
Jack Swagger
Jinder Mahal
John Cena
Justin Gabriel
Kane
Kofi Kingston
Mark Henry
Primo
R-Truth
Randy Orton
Santino
Sheamus
Ted Dibiase
The Miz
Tyson Kidd
Undertaker
Wade Barrett
Yoshi Tatsu
Zack Ryder

This is based on tv time and current injuries.

FIP is all but done in Florida, they only run the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup there because the history is tied to Florida.

Also, you forgot about Booker T's promotion in Houston, forget the name.

Hmm, so, early in 2012...

What was your favorite segment of 2011? It doesn't have to be EXCELLENT, just your favorite segment of the year.

I can't think of anything better than what topped my list of 2010 (Batista SHREDDING Cena on the mic, hugging fat girls, kissing babies etc) but what might just do it for me would be...

Shit, I dunno. What did you guys like?
Um.

The CM Punk promo.

At some point this year people will realize Ryder is boring as fuck, can't talk, has a terrible gimmick, and wrestles like a dude who hasn't left training camp. Get him the fuck out of there, sometimes the fans are wrong, they should have never given in and let that putz on TV until he had more time to develop. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills listening to people go nuts for him.

Still worth watching in 2012. Rise and fall of a mega star in under 2 years would be pretty spectacular.

I am so sick of Ryder constantly shilling his own merchandise. I get that 6 months ago, the merch sales would help him get exposure, but now that he has 10 products he is always mentioning, I am now a Ryder hater. He is a tool and can not wait for his one trick pony act to go away.
yesimad

Half of you hate Ryder and the other half of you hate Barrett... What the hell, guys?

1. Bryan
2. Barrett
3. Ziggler
4. Ryder
5. Rhodes
6. Kane
IN 2012!

I will never understand anyone getting behind Ryder. His look is stupid. His in ring skills are very mediocre. His mic skills are scary at best.

Yes man, the audience will spontaneously realign to be in line with your opinion.

I can't disagree. I find him to be a harken back to the WCW days of disco Inferno shit..........

Just watched Brian Kendrick (who comes across like a massive tool in some of the other parts of the interview) and Paul London's story about Benoit in a Bob Evans story. I don't know how I missed it, it's fucking hilarious. For anyone who missed it as well.

I enjoy Ryder and am happy for him getting a push, which he got entirely on his own.

I love Barrett and see him as a serious main event man for the foreseeable future. He's got a good look, good (and ever improving) ring skills, great mic skills (for a younger guy, he always sounds supremely confident on the mic, very rare in non-veterans) and most importanly for Vince, is tall and imposing.

Ziggler, Cody, Sheamus, Bryan, Barrett are all fresh and deserving of the main event, and hopefully we get a huge refresh of the whole main event scene as all of them move up over the next year.

Cena and Orton have been on top so long that it's time for them to transition to new roles, more of a "occasional" contender than a regular main event guy. Mostly they can act as veterans, despite neither being really that old (hell, they're not older than several of the new guys I mentioned above). They're just overexposed.

I think they're missing out on a fairly obvious first story for Bryan as champ, just turn Big Show heel and have it as a standard David/Goliath thing. It would get Bryan over with the crowd more, and give him credibility if he beat Big Show clean with submissions.

I think he'll be a hilarious heel, but at the same time, I do NOT want another cowardly weakling type champion. It's a waste of Bryan's talents in the ring AND on the mic, and will never build any credibility for the champion or the championship.

Just make him a super arrogant troll and seemingly unimposing champion who is lethal in the ring and can make anyone tap out with ease.

Easy.

Ziggler: God yes, no brainer

Eve: Uh, okay I guess? I don't really pay attention to the diva's division. They seem to have the same feuds/matches over and over (except on Smackdown! of course)

Ted DiBiase: Sorry, you'll never be as good as your father. Unless he gets a quick gimmick change he may do alright.

Chris Jericho: Yup yup, no brainer

Hunico: Needs to drop the stereotypical latino thug gimmick, needs a mysterious masked warrior gimmick.

Wade Barrett: Yeah, I think he could be a new big, tough guy to kick the shit out of people.

Rey: If his knee recovers alright, I can see him doing a few more good matches before it's time to retire.

Ryder: Hopefully he doesn't get over-exposed

Cody Rhodes: Him and Ziggles will headline a PPV this year.

Sheamus: A good complement to Barrett

Kane: This'll be his last year, I think. Hope him and Taker go out in grand fashion.

R-Truth: Love the lil' Jimmy gimmick, a good upper mid-carder.

***_******* hates both of them, I believe. Don't know about Heavy, though

How wrong you are. I like both Barrett and Ryder. I just wish they give Ryder oh....idk an actual FEUD for the damn title he was fighting for months to get shots at. But yeah, midcard getting feuds? What a ridiculous thought.

The Big Show is over as face right now. Also, Bryan was booed at last friday smackdown before there match, but it was edited out to keep him a face for now. His mic work right now is alot better than when they had him as a face.

Mid-card feuds only happen on Smackdown and they never get a PPV pay-off match.
