Even as far as wrestlers go, Otunga's got a very sweet gig going. He's on TV every week in a mainly non-wrestling role and I would guess (from my limited knowledge of house shows) that he mainly just takes a handful of bumps per week.

That and he's doing what he loves and making a better living than most (even Harvard-educated) lawyers are.
Still... perception is everything in Hollywood and The Rock is the only person to build credibility out of wrestling

Anything Ric Flair, Macho Man, Scott Steiner does.

Funniest wrasslin' memory?

It'd have to be Steiner's recent antics

Favorite finisher?

Stunner! STUNNER!

Funniest wrasslin' memory?

R-Truth yelling "I want mah Son back!"

Favorite finisher?

Sharpshooter

While she's hawking Weight Watchers, he's having fun doing something he likes to do and making $200,000 while doing it. What an underachiever.

He's currently getting paid $200,000 to work out at the gym, drink coffee, and wear sweaters.

Two of those things he'd be doing for free on his own anyway. (Can't be sure about the sweaters part.)

The bonus is he gets to fly around the world, away from his annoying fiance, and hang out with wrestlers.

Favorite 3 wrestlers of all time:
1. CM Punk
2. Chris Jericho
3. Mick Foley

Current Fave Five:
1. Dolph Ziggler
2. CM Punk
3. Cody Rhodes
4. Archibald Peck/RD Evans
5. Mr. Excitement, Big Johnny Ace

Earliest wrasslin' memory? Stone Cold "Signing a deal with the devil"... I didn't regularly watch wrestling until the Invasion angle, but this was my first PPV
Before that it would've been classmates bringing in WWF: The Music and playing it in our Grade 6 lunchroom, much to the chagrin of our lunchlady

Favorite promo, or promos? Punk signing his WWE contract on the ROH world title. I heard about this in the GAF wrestling thread when it happened. At the time I had a vague idea about what Ring of Honor was and no idea who CM Punk was but the idea intrigued me as an amazing heel move.
Been a fan of Punk and indy wrestling ever since.

Funniest wrasslin' memory? In high school we ditched a class to meet Jericho at a mall. We got there late but snuck into line and I think Jericho noticed. When we got to the front I tried to get a picture shaking his hand but he just looked at the camera and gave an annoyed face. So the picture is him looking like a big shot with my hand outreached, best picture ever.

Favorite finisher? Any type of cutter move (RKO, Stunner) or Michaels' SCM/Superkick. As I'm pretty sure I'd pull one of them out if I ever got in a street fight

Crossing over from the other sports entertainment thread!

1. Scott Steiner
2. Ric Flair
3. Scott Hall

Earliest Moment:
NBC Saturday night Prime-time wrestling, Hogan and Macho vs The Twin Towers, breaking up of the Mega Powers, and the Jealous Eyes promo.

Favorite 3 wrestlers of all time:
1. Kane
2.
Chris Benoit (absolute shame about his horrific final days and actions)
3. The Rock or maybe Mick Foley, I can't decide!

Current Fave Five:
1. Kane (in 2012 edition)
2. Wade Barrett
3. CM Punk
4. Cody Rhodes
5. Kofi Kingston

Earliest wrasslin' memory?
My older cousins used to be wrestling fans and had left some of their stuff at my grandparents house, most notably an old WWF toy ring with figures of Hogan, Macho Man and Bossman among others, I had no idea what the deal with wrestling was at that point.
As for actual wrestling, it was a McMahon Helmsley faction promo regarding Tori being hit with Kane's Tombstone.

Favorite promo, or promos?
It's got to be something from The Rock, so many to choose from but i'll always love his promo about Billy Gunn.
Kane's Undertaker eulogy

Funniest wrasslin' memory?
A lot of the Austin Appreciation night was hilarious to me, From the off key wind beneath my wings to the Kurt Angle Milk Truck. While the invasion was unpopular I was really into the Austin/Angle feud, Stone Cold really pulled off a fantastic heel turn looking back as I hated him for it!

Also watching WM22 live with some friends, such a great night that no WM since has compared to.

Favorite finisher?
Steiner Screwdriver

Favorite 3 wrestlers of all time:
1. Shawn Michaels
2. Stone Cold Steve Austin
3. Macho Man Randy Savage

2 and 3 are always changing. HBK is the G.O.A.T.

Current Fave Five:
1. Shinsuke Nakamura
2. Daniel Bryan
3. Mark Henry
4. The Briscoe Brothers
5. CM Punk
5b. Dolph Ziggler

Earliest wrasslin' memory?: Uhhhhhhh, it's all just a mess of stuff in my head now. Probably some Savage promo.

Favorite promo, or promos?: Scott Steiner Math Lesson, Macho Man Cup Ah Coffee, DX Press Conference 1998, HBK Heel Promo in Montreal 2005 (Part 2), Hollywood Rock In Toronto 2003 (Part 2)....God so many more.

Funniest wrasslin' memory?: Starting a "brawl" in the school cafeteria with a "lunch tray shot" that involved 20+ people, Stone Cold vs. Booker T in a Supermarket, Scott Steiner in recent years, Hulk Hogan turning to join the Outsiders/form NWO (was hilarious to me as a heel fan since the beginning), Kenny Omega beating that little girl's ass, CM Punk making strippers cry LEGIT during a fall count anywhere match that passed through a strip club

Favorite finisher?: Sweet Chin Music, Savage Diving Elbow, Ace Crusher in all its variations, Davey Richards' running punt kick to the face/chest, any kind of running knee shot, Five Star Frog Splash

Coming to think of it Batista's Heel turn works as a great funniest wrasslin' memory, Batista himself was just full of golden quotes that were mentioned in many conversations and that turn was full of them.

Favorite 3 wrestlers of all time:
1. Bret Hart
2. Chris Benoit
3. Kurt Angle or Chris Jericho...

Current Fave Five:
1. Dolph Ziggler
2. Cody Rhodes
3. Jack Swagger
4. Daniel Bryan
5. Chris Jericho

Earliest wrasslin' memory?
Back when the Steiner brothers started in the WWF, my dad had one of his friends and his son over to watch the Royal Rumble(I think it was)... when they came out Rick had his usual greco-roman style wrestling headgear on and my friend's dad said "What's with that head gear?"
But then when I started getting back into it, I was like 13 and I had the TV on USA for whatever reason and the WWF show that was on Saturday mornings was on and I was instantly hooked.

Favorite promo, or promos?
I honestly can't really pin point any good promo that comes to me nearly 10 years after getting out of and back into the sport. I mean, CM Punk's pipebomb promo should easily be most people's favorite if they're just getting into wrestling.

Funniest wrasslin' memory?
One of two that my friend always make mention of:
In the Big Bossman vs. Paul Wight/The Big Show feud when Bossman came out and did the poem about Big Show's father.
The other would be when Taz came out to cut a promo and he started lipping at JR and Lawler and said something like "I WAS GONNA SLAP YOUR FACE, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE GOD ALREADY BEAT ME TO IT!"

Favorite finisher?
I'd have to say the Sharpshooter or the Buff Blockbuster.

Has anyone here read Cross Rhodes? I'm tempted to buy it.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004JHXLXI/

I have. It's a lot of fluff, didn't stick out in my mind very strongly after finishing, and was done in one day. It's therefore 'average' but wasn't bad by any means.

Coming to think of it Batista's Heel turn works as a great funniest wrasslin' memory, Batista himself was just full of golden quotes that were mentioned in many conversations and that turn was full of them.

Oh, god yes. Kissin babies, huggin fat girls...

and also his feud with Rey beforehand.

Favorite promo, or promos?: I don't know

Funniest wrasslin' memory?: I don't know

Favorite finisher?: Razor's Edge, Perfect Plex, Stunner, Air Bourne, Marc Mero's finisher, Starship Pain

They should pay Hudson to show up at raw and cut a promo in saying That Otunga needs to quit, then Otunga DDTs her and he is instantly over with the fans.

Favorite 3 wrestlers of all time:
1. Kane
2. HBK
3. Stone Cold

Austin & HHH's assault on the Hardy's.

Funniest wrasslin' memory?

Favorite finisher?
The F-5, obvi, RKO is a close second.

Edit:

Welcome back FrankMan, We now have someone to copy/paste lyrics.

Either that or the Shooting Star Press Wild Thing.

Edit: Heavy is thinking of the Merosault. He would start on the top rope facing his opponent, do a 180 then them do a moonsault on a standing opponent. It was not a finisher, only a setup move.

I think Mero deserves more credit - I saw him in, I think 95, in a 30 minute opener for a WCW PPV and it was a scorcher - opening match and it kept the crowd interest high the whole time, he was excellent as Johnny B. Badd.

Favorite 3 wrestlers of all time:
1. Kenta Kobashi
2. Stan Hansen
3. Jushin 'Thunder' Liger

Current Fave Five:
1. Kevin Steen
2. El Generico
3. Dolph Ziggler
4. Daisuke Sekimoto
5. Daniel Bryan

Earliest wrasslin' memory?
Probably watching WCW on Saturday afternoons around 1986-1987. One of the first matches I distinctly remember is Arn Anderson vs Dusty for the TV title.

Favorite promo, or promos?
God, too many to name. So many of Cactus Jack's ECW promos, CM Punk's famous promo from his feud with Raven, CM Punk & Colt when they won the ROH tag titles, pretty much the entirety of Eddie Kingston vs Chris Hero from IWA-MS, CZW & ROH, Dusty's 'Hard Times' promo, Flair's crazy rants, so many Macho Man promos, etc. *edit, forgot The Briscoes! Goddamn, I love their recent promo work.

Funniest wrasslin' memory?
Steiner's insanity, Dusty commentary, Kikutaro/Ebessan & Kuishinbo Kamen's shtick (especially the famous slow-mo spots), Chuck Taylor's screams & scaring kids, CM Punk owning fans, etc

Favorite finisher?
Stan Hansen's Lariat - Not only did it look physically impressive (no one ever accused Hansen of working soft), but the move was so well protected that every time Stan raised his left arm, readjusted his elbow pad and clocked someone with the lariat, you knew it was over.

Favorite 3 wrestlers of all time:
1. Bret Hart
2. Mr. Perfect
3. Arn Anderson

Current Fave Five:
1. Christopher Daniels
2. Dolph Ziggler
3. Chris Jericho
4. The Briscoes
5. Rob Van Dam

Earliest wrasslin' memory? -- Watching WCW Saturday Night with my grandpa. This was maybe 83 or 84.

Favorite promo, or promos? -- SCSA @ KotR. The intro of Austin 3:16

Funniest wrasslin' memory? -- Anytime Gorilla Monsoon would say "Would you stop?!"

Favorite finisher? -- Tiger Driver or Death Valley Driver

Favorite 3 wrestlers of all time:
1. Shawn Michaels
2. Kane (1997-1998)
3. The Rock

Current Fave Five:
Haven't watched since Taker returned at that Wrestlemania with his old deadman gimmick. 5-6 years ago?

Earliest wrasslin' memory? Hogan vs Andre at Wrestlemania III.

Favorite promo, or promos? DX era HBK was just gold. Can't even really pick out a favorite.

Funniest wrasslin' memory? At a Gamestop playing the ECW game for Dreamcast waiting for a meet & greet with then ECW Champ Mike Awesome. Was playing against my friend when he got a call and excused himself. Then someone else stepped up to finish the match with me. After winning, I turned to give him/her a good game and realized it was Mike Awesome.

Favorite finisher? Tombstone Piledriver.

Favorite finisher? -- Tiger Driver or Death Valley Driver

The DVD! When Perry Saturn moved to that over the Rings of Saturn, I loved it. Though it's been popular in other circles as well, I'm a WCW mark to the bitter end.

Otunga's currently a guilty pleasure of mine so this story about Jennifer Hudson being all bitchy really annoys me, but since when is The National Enquirer a trusted source?

So that means so far we have:
Randy Orton
Sin Cara
Zack Ryder
Undertaker
Glacier
Rey Mysterio
Del Rio

All to make "surprise" returns at the Rumble

You forgot Christian. And possibly Triple H. And possibly - going out on a limb - The Rock.

Favorite 3 wrestlers of all time:

1. Steve Austin
2. Shawn Michaels
3. Rey Mysterio

Current Fave Five:

1. CM Punk
2. Randy Orton
3. Daniel Bryan
4. Dolph Ziggler
5. James Storm

Christian and Mysterio are absent because, you know, injuries. Orton stays because he's only been out a week at this point and will be back soon enough. Storm is my token TNA pick; I'm trying to give the company a fair shake this year and I've long sung Storm's praises.

Earliest wrasslin' memory?

I became a wrestling fan the day that Kane won the WWF title. I thought "that guy in the mask" was much cooler than "that bald guy" and was pissed when Austin won the belt back off of him. The thing that sticks with me most is Bearer taking off his shoe and trying to whack Austin with it.

Favorite promo, or promos?

Steve Austin's famous ECW promo. Looking back at that, you can see just how gifted and passionate Austin was. In my opinion, the most accomplished wrestler of all-time; the total package.

Another great Austin promo: "This ain't a beer belly - it's a fuel tank for a whoop ass machine!"

So, so many.

Funniest wrasslin' memory?

Punk hitting Zack Ryder with a microphone mid-sentence during the Royal Rumble. I burst out laughing.

Favorite finisher?

Eddie Guerrero's Frog Splash. Right now, Orton has a monopoly on great finishers - the RKO and the patented punt are both great.

Favorite 3 wrestlers of all time in no order:
Sting
Kurt Angle
Shawn Michaels

Current Fave Five:
1. Shinsuke Nakamura
2. CM Punk
3. Dolph Ziggler
4. Prince Devitt
5. Chris Jericho

Earliest wrasslin' memory? I remember walking in on my dad watching Monday Night Nitro, right when Sting was beating up the entire nWo

Favorite promo, or promos? That Paul Heyman promo when ECW invaded the WWF was always a great.

Funniest wrasslin' memory? Anything Edge & Christian in 2000.

Favorite finisher? Boma Ye. Something about a knee to the face is awesome.

Are you guys reacting from a story that came from the National Enquirer? Really?

Best investigative reporting on the planet. But go ahead, read the New York Times if you want. They get lucky sometimes.

And now...

Favorite 3 wrestlers of all time:
1. Stone Cold Steve Austin
2. The Rock
3. Chris Jericho

Current Fave Five:
1. CM Punk
2. Daniel Bryan
3. Cody Rhodes
4. Dolph Ziggler
5. Shinsuke Nakamura

Earliest wrasslin' memory?

Whenever I think of my earliest wrestling memory it has to do with the 1-2-3 Kid. I don't know if I saw a match of his on TV, or saw something in a magazine, but it's always him.

Favorite promo, or promos?

CM Punk's Shoot, Austin 3:16, Austin's Dry County Promo.

Funniest wrasslin' memory?

I think I have to go with Brodus' debut last night. My sides still hurt from that. Sin Cara's botch in NWA was good too.

Favorite finisher?

Tombstone Piledriver.
