A Ziggler-Edge feud would be nice mainly due to the heat Vickie attracts and it will make people cheer for Edge even more. Ziggler looked great in his two matches with Cener and has shown to be a solid worker. He doesn't need to speak with Vickie there, and we know her past with Edge, also. That's probably my second most wanted match after the E&C one, of course.

I think the very fact she walked from backstage area to receive an award makes her a plant.

The fact that Antoine Dodson has a song out and t-shirts and whatnot means he was totally a plant when he was first shown on the news.

Think that would have made more sense if they pushed a Vickie/Edge feud at any other time, but they really haven't even though been on the same show for the better part of the year.

The Royal Rumble box set is pretty awesome, it gives you order of entry for every Rumble, wrestlers who was in the match the longest, who had the most eliminations, and all fo the rookies in the Rumble match.

Ok so I'm catching up on Smackdown and Vickie says she has vertigo and can't be more than two and a half feet off the ground. But she's standing in the ring that is 4 ft off the ground... :lol :lol :lol

Vertigo isn't caused by height, height has nothing to do with it.
Vertigo Causes

Vertigo can be caused by problems in the brain or the inner ear.

* Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is the most common form of vertigo and is characterized by the sensation of motion initiated by sudden head movements or moving the head in a certain direction. This type of vertigo is rarely serious and can be treated.

* Vertigo may also be caused by inflammation within the inner ear (labyrinthitis or vestibular neuritis), which is characterized by the sudden onset of vertigo and may be associated with hearing loss. The most common cause of labyrinthitis is a viral or bacterial inner ear infection.

* Meniere's disease is composed of a triad of symptoms including: episodes of vertigo, ringing in the ears (tinnitis), and hearing loss. People with this condition have the abrupt onset of severe vertigo, fluctuating hearing loss, as well as periods in which they are symptom-free.

* Acoustic neuroma is a type of tumor of the nerve tissue that can cause vertigo. Symptoms include vertigo with one-sided ringing in the ear and hearing loss.

* Vertigo can be caused by decreased blood flow to the base of the brain. Bleeding into the back of the brain (cerebellar hemorrhage) is characterized by vertigo, headache, difficulty walking, and inability to look toward the side of the bleed. The result is that the person's eyes gaze away from the side with the problem. Walking is also extremely impaired.

* Vertigo is often the presenting symptom in multiple sclerosis. The onset is usually abrupt, and examination of the eyes may reveal the inability of the eyes to move past the midline toward the nose.

* Head trauma and neck injury may also result in vertigo, which usually goes away on its own.

* Migraine, a severe form of headache, may also cause vertigo. The vertigo is usually followed by a headache. There is often a prior history of similar episodes but no lasting problems.

* Complications from diabetes can cause arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) which can lead to lowered blood flow to the brain, causing vertigo symptoms.

My buddy just texted me that the Miz separated his shoulder and is out until Mania. Anybody confirm this?

Edit... false alarm. He doesn't like miz so he thought it would be funny to fuck with me...

It's actually caused by Alfred Hitchcock amirite? :D buhdumtish

no but really +1 to my knowledge of vertigo. You've filled my learning quota for the day

That one scene pretty much ruined Nexus. From there, Daniel Bryan got fired and creative was completely lost as to what to do with the invasion angle from there. It's a shame too.

Whats everybodies Most Improved?
Match of the Year?

Mine has to be Kane

- Improved on Promos
- Worked matches with a crippled Undertaker
- Kane worked through worst whc angle in history
- Great StoryTelling in the Rey / Kane / Taker Feud

Match of the Year

Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler (Series)

Most Improved is pretty tough. It was a good year for talent development, in spite of horrible booking. Ziggler took the next step, as did Sheamus and The Miz. I'm still not sold on Miz's in-ring work, but he's still come a long way. Sheamus looks legitimate and has moved beyond the monster heel gimmick. Ziggler just looks awesome and could go toe to toe with anyone in the WWE. He even looked legitimate against John Cena on two occasssions.

Match of the year is definitely the Ziggler/Daniel Bryan match(es). I know the popular opinion is Undertaker and Michaels, but if you take away the constant kicking out of finishers they had at the end, it wouldn't be nearly as memorable. Last year's match between the two was better.

Funny to see the evolution of the Rumble as a concept and as a PPV.

The 2nd one, featured more in-ring action, but you still had the pose down between the Warrior and Rude.

The Rumble was also used to further several storylines (Macho/Hogan, and Hogan/Akeem and Bossman)

Now on to 1990 where we still have no world title match.

Oh nice, there is some carry over from the previous year Royal Rumble. As Million Dollar Man bought number 30 in 1989 and was forced to pick in front of the President this year, and he drew number 1.

The next ROH iPPV on February 26th has been announced as 'The 9th Anniversary Show' - already signed are;

ROH World Heavyweight Title Match; Roderick Strong (c) vs Homicide
ROH World Tag Team Title Match; The Kings of Wrestling (c) vs The All-Night Express
Dream Tag Team Match; The Briscoe Brothers vs Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas

Since I don't think its been mentioned yet, but Tough Enough is returning April 4th, the night after Wrestlemania.

The first episode will air after Raw ends, and then will serve as a lead-in to Raw after that.

Kind of curious what it means for NXT.

http://corporate.wwe.com/news/WWECorporate-2011.1.3USANetwork.html

It's interesting, because Tough Enough is looking for a co-ed kind of atmosphere. A friend of mine, who is female, and wrestles, was contacted by them to be on it. I'm pretty excited if it comes to pass, but I'm not gonna jinx it by saying much else, but rest assured it'd be a thrill if she got on :D

But back to the topic, I don't think the two shows can coexist.

If its faux-documentary style it will do fine, if its nXt lke in front of a live crowd it'll be disappointing.
Yes, as long as they take a different approach to it and don't leave it up to a live vote, it should be fine.

I think one of the main problems NXT had was that because most of the guys on it were fairly inexperienced they couldnt do much in ring. Because they couldn't do a whole lot in the ring they then had to do stuff like obstacle courses which just made them look like goofs and meant people couldn't take them seriously. If they keep away from that sort of stuff Tough Enough has a chance.

I was gonna say Tough Enough has the problem, NXT rookies are all trained wrestlers, probably not use to performing at the WWE level, but wrestlers.

Some of the Tough Enough people if anything like prior seasons sometimes just take people who have an interest in wrestling so expect even more out of ring stuff.

True, I think the best thing to do would be to take guys who do already have experience and then do the reality show style programme with them.

I think(hope) WWE would learn they could use a faux-documentary style so you could use proffesional wrestlers have a few non wrestlers mixed in their in the preliminary episodes to make the wrestlers look more impressive.

The press release for Tough Enough said it's going to be a "non-scripted" reality show, so that means it *should* be closer to the original Tough Enough and less like what we're currently seeing on NXT.

But I have a hard time believing the "non-scripted" part since every reality show is practically scripted nowadays. Guess we shall see!

The E needs to step it up and blow the roof off ttonight, the first episode on the Road to Wrestlemania. No Monday night football, but Pretty Little Liars' season premiere will surely do some damage. JoMo to win the title tonight.

If Tuff Enough was shit during the height of wrestling, it will be shit this time. Clearly NXT has shown they didn't learn anything.
