They sounded braindead. Which probably isn't too far off.
That was one of the most astounding and gross burials ever. The Ascension stands no chance of ever being taken seriously. Even if they started getting amazing book from now on (which they obviously won't). Their first exposure to the fans of the main roster included terrible vignettes of them sporting their new LoD/Demolition throwback gimmick.
The last 2 weeks have consisted of them squashing no-name jobbers to no fanfare, no heat, and no pops.
And just now they were demolished by two 50-year-olds. Fun fact: the collective age of the 7 people standing tall at the end of that segment is older than the country they are performing in.

Didn't see that, but I thought it worked well here. Got bleeped of course, but dude was filled with passion and life. Pretty captivating and just seems really refreshed.
Haven't heard it in a few years in an ROH ring, so it felt fresh.
