can someone explain, I didn't get it, they started talking funny and then Kennan came in and from there I was lost...
Keenan Thompson played Fat Albert in the recent live action film version. Thus, it was implied that, in order to guarantee sequels, he should stop doing a Cosby impression to make fun of him, especially in regards to molestation charges.
It was an alright SNL episode. Kelly Clarkson can really sing, as was clearly demonstrated by her skits, but the problem with the other songs is that they aren't belting songs. Note that in the choruses and bridges she sounds pretty damn good...but the verses are too mellow, and her voice is suited best for the power stuff, as seen on the subway. Nice to see a musical act get involved, though, and she is a good-natured person with enough natural charisma to pull off the minimal work she was given.
I must admit, the biggest laugh had to have been the Gesture Dyslexia. My god, that was brilliant. And no, that was not Chris Carmack (Who played Luke on The O.C.) who was handing out the drinks. It was some random buff, blonde male model.
My favorite skit overall, though, had to be the Bill Curtis skit. It took me a minute to figure out who they were talking about, but then it hit me, and the impression was spot-on. It was great Darrell Hammond, as it was purely an impression and that was the joke. Love it. Also got some laughs out of the quite awesome T.T. and Mario skit. Especially the Earthquake song's ending. Maya Rudolph had a good, random singing filled episode. Just the looks on their faces after they finished each song were worth it.
