Jason Statham is...A Working Man

Doesn't Jason looks kind of old in the trailer ?

Age finally caught up with him it seems at least looks wise...

A really quick derail..

I've been looking for a Statham film, it's where he returns home (I think from the army) with nothing, he's a bit recluse, and bums in someone's apartment he squats at, he uses that as a base and dolls out justice etc..

Anyone know the name? I want to watch it again 👀

Hummingbird, one of the better ones!

I thought the same, but:

Who Is Jason Statham

Jason Statham is an actor and producer most recognized for his starring roles in some of the best movies. Hobbs & Shaw is also among the films in which Statham has appeared.

Just goes to show, you can't trust your own taste sometimes.

Did anyone watch this?

I was excited for it but damn was it boring by the numbers save the kidnapped person scenario we have seen a million times.

They barely lean into him being "a working man" and him. His finicial difficulties are nothing but a comical reason for him to help out .

Ya it is alright. The girl is not helpless but she needs Jason statham to save her. But overall a fun film.

I'm a few minutes in and I'm spotting it's filmed in London. In the lawyers office there is a UK plug on the wall and the shard in the background.
They tried to do the blurred background trick but it's obvious.
But the way standard Statham fair. He is the bollocks super cool etc. I can tell it's going to be watchable.

I enjoyed it, it was exactly what I expected. Faces got punched, asses got kicked, bodies got dropped. You don't go into a statham film expecting a modern Shakespeare.

It was OK. There were some things that started annoying me. I felt that the characters (bad guys) were too theatrical. Almost like a Statham movie mixed with Batman Forever.
