As everyone probably already knows, she's going to be in the upcoming Dukes of Hazard movie. As everyone probably already knows, it'll likely be the worst film since, well, Alexander. Still, as this picture leads me to believe, I'll likely be suckered into seeing this one way or the other...

Well, Jay Chandrasekhar is directing and the entirety of Broken Lizard helped write it... you can decide whether that adds any potential to this project. As of now, I'm betting on it being a guilty pleasure and some decent, stupid fun.

Broken Lizard wrote the film? I knew that Jay was directing it, didn't know they were writing it. Now I know I'm going to see it.
 
Dammit, they're filming this in Baton Rouge and all I've got to show for it is I saw Johnny Knoxville at the Fox and Hound the other night.

Meanwhile, my friend who works downtown had non-stop stories of all the stuff they're fliming downtown.

And a guy I work with is so sick of hearing that he's Jessica Simpson's neighbor.

i'd love to order that, but i'm not sure it'd work in the US on my DVD player, i'm fairly positive the nick frost one won't...at least it didn't a few months ago when I looked

Nah, Region 2, so expect to either play it on your PC, or get a region-free player somehow (my modded xbox = region free).

It's in Baton Rouge and the surrounding area. The state started offering incentives to get more movies flimed in Louisiana.

There might be or have been some footage filmed in Georgia too, I dunno.
 
Yea it's here in downtown Baton Rouge, but honestly this chick does NOTHING for me, it's probably her Tom Cruise nose.

The girl has vocal talent when it comes to singing, it's just that she's not singing anything I want to listen to. Now her sister Ashlee on the other hand, she's just riding the Simpson name...
 
The original Daisy Duke had great legs though, that was part of what made her look so good in those ...daisy dukes.

Jessica Simpson's looks seems to be highly camera dependant, as she looks fantastic in certain shots from certain angles + yet somehow at certain angles the manly features do take precidence.
 
The problem with Jessica Simpson is that she's too short for the role. She's only like 5"1' or something like that. The original actress was a lot taller and therefore a hell of a lot more leggy. Legs made that role and they should have cast someone taller to fill those shorts.
