That would be enough for me.

i hardly ever buy soundtracks off of eBay unless i'm familiar with the seller. There's WAY too many bootlegs and a lot of them have pictures of legitimate CDs in the auctions. i'm sure the vast majority of people don't know that the CDs they've bought are bootlegs, and a lot of others don't care.

There's also Chudah's Corner, a great resource for game soundtrack info, in addition to this:

Edit: animecast (the auction poster you posted) is on the list. :D

Thanks for the info aoi. But wow at $40 I may just have to buy the bootleg instead. :\

Who is that in your avatar?

I have the Ever Anime JSR soundtrack (HK pirate release of course) and they're very professionally made. I know it's piracy, but I have an issue of:

A) paying $30+ for a soundtrack to a...
B) game that I already own, especially when...
C) the soundtrack isn't released in the US

iawtp

I have it too, it's fine unless you're some label whore that HAS to own official and pay out the ass to do so.

But then there's always the option of importing it from the internet...

Perhaps you should make a responsible purchase! So many of these bootlegs don't have the full game soundtrack. Also, did you notice that there are songs from two different games (JGR and JSRF) on the one album?

well then uh, why pay money for them at all? in the hours/days it would take to receive it you could find it on the internet and burn it to your own CD. and then you could dress it up by drawing flowers on it or something to make it UNIQUELY YOU!

i can understand that, but then why pay someone to "professionally" pirate licensed material, which reduces profits to the license holder, when you can just download it for free? BTW, the US sampler did have different versions of a few songs on the official OST, including an uncensored version of "Richard Simmons".

Because some of the songs in the second game are remixes from the first, with the same names.

Also, even offical soundtrack doesn't have every song, due to problems with clearances and the such. And the missing songs are the best ones, IMHO (David Seoul, Idot Taxi).
