More info from this week’s Famitsu reveals the announcement of a new Jojo game in the form of Eyes of Heaven, a tag battle fighting game in 3D arenas.

There will be a demo in the near future, and the game will be playable at the upcoming Jump Festa.

New characters announced:

From Part 7: Diego Brando (Takehito Koyasu)

From Part 2: Rudol von Stronheim (Atsushi Imaruoka)

So they've completely changed up the type of game it is rather than just refining the gameplay of All-Star Battle?

If they do this, I want them to make it with 60fps in mind and let the PS3 version just be gimped if needed.

2D? You do know that the previous game was 3D also?
The only 2D game was the 90's Capcom game.

Awesome but ill wait to see how it turns out, the last Jojos game was terrible for everything other than fan service. Ended up returning it after a few weeks and went back to the dreamcast version.

Ill keep my eye on this one as tag arena sounds like it could be good.

Excited to see that a new JoJo's game is in development. Although I guess now that we know what both of CC2's new projects are I guess that means Asura's Wrath 2 is completely ruled out.

As if it wasn't already. ;_;

Glad to see they're still doing Jojo games, even moreso that it's coming to PS4. Bandai Namco have been great lately with giving liscenced anime games PS4 versions.

Hopefully it turns out decent.

Crap, now I'm worried... It's probably a game like Jump All Stars, instead of a true fighter like the previous... :(

Yeah, that was what really worries me. Jump All Stars wasn't a good game to play, and ASB actually turned out to be pretty fun with the patches included. :<

Ugh. Giving Diego the same voice actor of Dio and using him as Diego is incredibly lazy, they ARE NOT the same character. That's like Johnny and Johnathan having the same voice actor. Regardless of "tribute" at the end of SBR.

I want F.F., Hot Pants, Soundman, Yotsuyu Yagiyama, Kyou Nijimura.

Boost the latter parts please. Parts 1~3 are zzzz.

Being described as a 3D arena game has me cautious. I hope that doesn't mean they totally scrap the ASB combat system because it was a good foundation. The Naruto games feel horrible in comparison so if it was more like that it would be really disappointing. But as long as it has a proper story mode I'm down.
