This is actually less gory then the hxh that's on tv right now due to lots of censoring in jojo(lots of black shadow decapitation).
I really hope those get removed.

Well, "hamon" is untranslated, while "ripple" is the translation so...
I thought that was like the "Haki" in One Piece which does not have a translation so that's why I was confused.

I can't speak for the English version of One Piece, but the French version had Haki translated as "fluide" (fluid?or perhaps "flow" or "flux" would fit the context more), it was pretty controversial reading French One Piece message boards.

I'm used to the english scans now so I forgot they translated it in the volumes.

Gintama making seiyuu jokes wouldn't be surprising at all. Like that time in the popularity polls arc when kept making references to Sengoku Basara at Hijikata. And Gintoki managed a Stand Ryokan!

Wait, what? I though the reason Viz uses Haki is because Shueisha told them to, but the French publishers get to translate any way they like? No fair.

The French publisher can't use the official logo for some reason though so... heh.
It's probably a choice by the publisher, though.
Back when One Piece was first published, it was published in reverse (not the original Japanese left to right way of reading, but rather the right to left way of reading common in the West), so I guess they went for a more subdued logo.
(they re-release the early volumes in the right order later though)
They replaced the colored backgrounds of the covers by white ones, until volume 30 or so.
No idea why, probably to keep it familiar for readers.

Episode was almost distressingly alarming
but ended up being quite enjoyable and really good. How wonderful it was for Wham to actually have a cool personality and such. Really hope he gets bit more screentime, if only for the sake of interacting with Joseph more. Joseph seems pretty compatible with multiple characters thus far, thought the only joy would come from when he talks with Ceaser but surprisingly it was just as good and fun with Wham too.
Anyway good and hope new attacks on all fronts, engagement thing was great as well as various schemes. I still wish they went with an art style similar to this as it really would bring out and make the anime's blocky bulky characters much better and tolerable in terms of looks.
I also hope this gets an american english dub, its just so tedious to consistently consult various english dictionaries to understand some of the dialogue, like cor blimey, etc.

Plotwise its kind of silly but easy to overlook. Dont understand why all three of them would just play around with characters that will no doubt defeat them at the end of the ark, unless there are some odd hijinks involved, which would at least explain why no one has challenged or defeated these people before hand.

Episode 15 was great. I mean, I know what's going to happen but the VAs completely sold it. I don't know if it's just me but the production has been consistently good for the entire part so far. Can't wait for the next episode and I'm glad that gg went with the good names.
