I didn't know they had been talking for a year. Matthew seems like such a good guy. Maybe this is a hint of Jordan moving to Texas and going back on JRE. I know one thing and its that we need more Jordan Peterson! They did talk about his book Greenlight but the good stuff comes a bit later on when they start talking about fame and and how people interact with people with "power/fame".

Jordan talking about True Detective with him was amazing. Jordan seemed genially concerned for Matthew and how easy it was for him to play a "dark role". Really good stuff. Take a listen.

McConaughey comes off as a bit of a douche IMO. Very much "And here's how Mathew McConaughey solved this problem..." type of guy.

Still, an interesting character nonetheless.
