Mel Gibson yells at his wife and gets blacklisted. Josh Brolin beats on Diane Lane for over a decade and oscar nominations and great roles. I don't understand hollywood.

Mel Gibson got blacklisted because he said if his wife got "raped by a pack of niggers", it was her own fault. This is on top of his own domestic battery incident which led to him bot being able to come near his wife or daughter for a time. Oh, and he referred to Mexicans as "wetbacks". So no, it's not just yelling at his wife.

That's probably not happening, seeing as a decent amount of important characters are all with Fox.

Is Fox going to lose the rights to Silver Surfer anytime soon? They've mentioned they don't plan on doing a spinoff on him after his Fantastic Four debut. He needs a proper treatment film from Marvel.

Don't forget about the Jews

If they ever do Annihilation they are going to almost certainly just change it into a Nova-centered film. He's already the primary protagonist in the comic story anyways. The Super Skrull and Silver Surfer stories as part of Annihilation can be cut without drastically altering the primary plot. Galactus (who is just used as a weapon) and even Annihilus himself could both be replaced with alternative things/villains. The core plot could still remain intact. They can use Nova, Ronan, Gamora, Drax, Thanos, Wendell Vaughn, Phyla Vell, and Peter Quill/Star-Lord; all of whom are the true major players in the story and most of which are being introduced in the upcoming GotG movie.

I just realized that Josh Brolin played Sean Astin's older brother in The Goonies...

I recently watched No Country For Old Man again and thought about that, i actually didn't recognize him from the pic in the link.

This works, he's got the face for it. Also, I REALLY wanted him to be the next Batman, he's perfect for the role of a 35+ year old Bruce Wayne. Too bad.

Some more details on Thanos' appearance in GOTG:

Though Thanos didn't appear until the very end of The Avengers, Vulture has learned that
he'll emerge in the first act of Guardians of the Galaxy, albeit via hologram. That will remain Thanos's preferred method of communication throughout the film — a move the Mad Titan likely cribbed from the equally enigmatic Emperor Palpatine in The Empire Strikes Back — though Thanos finally shows up in the purple flesh for a scene that also features Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) and Nebula (Karen Gillan), who do the Mad Titan's bidding and serve as the primary adversaries in Guardians. Still, though Thanos is only briefly glimpsed throughout Guardians, his presence is palpable throughout: Characters reference him often and fearfully, and he has familial ties to Gamora (Zoe Saldana), our green-skinned female lead.

The article also sheds more detail on the Infinity Stone in the film.
It's the Power Stone.
