What the fuck, America, you need restraining orders to prevent candidates from harassing and intimidating voters??
How is this even a thing?! Why would you even want those people in office if they need restraining orders?!

Because it's not candidates. It's other voters trying to restrict people from voting. There was a woman in Florida with a bullhorn threatening Hillary voters, there was two armed white guys hanging outside the DNC headquarters in I think NC or somewhere, there was another guy hanging outside of a voting booth with a Magnum, and so on. It's going to get only worse now that white supremacist and other factions have pledged to 'stop voter fraud' by intimidating voters.

They weren't restraining candidates themselves. You can't be hovering behind someone as they vote or close enough they feel threatened. There also rules that say campaign signs cant be displayed within X feet from a polling site too. Poll watchers also can't challenge another voter directly. it has to go to a voting official.
