Juggernaut is about the only thing that will put me in a seat for this Singer-less trainwreck. The fact that everything has been so rushed in his departure and the all the cast antics make me think that this will be a pretty "meh" sequel, but I will go see it, even if it sucks, as long as Juggernaut is in it.

I can't see it working - there's no way the movie audience will swallow Jug's origin as is - it will have to be heavily modified, especially since he isn't a mutant.

Juggernaut is one of my favorite comic book characters, and Vinnie Jones fucking rocks, but I just don't see how they could possibly make it work. I just don't think you could make any human work as a live action Juggernaut.

i disagree and feel thats its the quality of how these new elements are presented, that make the most difference and not the new elements themselves.

Uhhh... yes he is. The gem triggered his mutant power and enhanced it. He's normally super strong but the gem enhanced that. During the storyline that led to him joining the Xmen, the gems power was syphoned away from him and it left him with his normal super strength.

Huh WTF that so fucking out dated. It doesn't even have him being a member of the Xmen listed uner affiliations. Stop relying on old material and read the fucking books. HE IS A MUTANT WITH SUPER STRENGTH AND ENDURENCE. The crystal he found turned his mutant gene on and enhanced this power. The power that he absorbed from the crystal was absorbed from him and now he is just his normal level of super stregth. Yes prior to finding the crystal he thought he was a normal huamn, but after the crystals power was taken from him he found out that indeed he was a mutant. Then he joined the Xmen. GO READ THE FREAKING BOOKS AND NOT A WISE ASS AND POST OLD INFORMATION. I can find some old history of Spiderman that was written in the 80s and then claim he isn't married to Marry Jane, but I would be just as wrong as you are about Juggernaut not being a mutant.

It's not our fault X-men has sucked since 1985. This whole Juggernaut is a mutant, and an X-man, only prooves it. Nightcrawler is a demon, Angel is an angel, Cyclop's dad is Poseidon! X-men blows chunks.

I can't disagree with that. Not only has the Xmen sucked since the mid ninties, the entire Marvel Universe has been cicling the drain since then.

Thus far, none of Magneto's henchmen in the X movies have had their backstories explained, I figure it'll be the same with Juggernaut. Really, I don't need to see his origin on screen, I just want to see him smash stuff up.

Oh, and he has to be CGI. A real person playing him just isn't gonna work.
