I was never really into Pantera so much myself and more into the death metal scene here with bands like Bestial Warlust, Cruciform, Sadistik Exekution etc etc etc. But I remember going to a metal festival in Sydney a few years ago and we all pitched in to get a bus. On the way home someone put on an old Pantera tape and they cut open a huge zit and squeezed thick puss out of some dudes back. It was a really fucking nightmarish experience after a day in the sun drinking fuck knows how many beers etc.

Not sure how Ryan topped the time he pointed out a dude in the crowd looked like Hornswoggle (just because he was a chap of small stature) apropos of absolutely nothing at OTT. And he wonders why the crowd turned heel on him for "no reason".

But I guess he did.

I get the whole holistic, humanistic attempt at "man we all just human, peace n love innit" but like, it's so out of wack with the reality of modern life.

Fucking hell, at least Kenny stays pure enough.

In better news the G1 was incredible today. I'm struggling to choose which match was best, but I think I might have to spring for Goto/Nagata. A simply told story with Nagata just being the most likable badass in the world.

I felt very sad when Goto put him away with the GTR. I wonder who Nagata gets to beat?

And the best thing was the match variety. Putting ZSJ in there always guarantees that you'll get a match that feels different, especially in a G1 situation when you've got multiple high level singles matches one after another. But with the possible exception of the Ishii/Makabe match, each one today felt like it was going after a unique feel and build.

Nagata/Goto was my favorite too. I really liked ZSJ vs Ibushi but Nagata vs Goto drew me in the most. I thought the whole show was great.

There was less spectacle than the last couple of nights but overall I thought the whole card was super solid.

Nagata's got Fale on the last A Block show, thinking he'll beat him to spoil any chance of the big man reaching the final. Could also see Yuji beating Makabe, maybe Zack as well.

I'm very excited for Zack/Nagata.

Beating Fale with the Shirome would be pretty amazing but I dunno if they'd let Fale tap.

I started ZSJ/Ibushi but paused it after like 5 minutes because I wasn't feeling it, didn't seem like Ibushi was gelling well with Zach's stretchy stuff at the beginning

Saw people on here were digging it, went back and unpaused and it got awesome. Lol

I feel that way about most ZSJ matches. He takes a bit to get going, but the matches usually end up great.

Outside my kid going "can I get a switch for my bday", I won't be buying one.

I have convinced myself not to get an Xbox One X at launch. Really I don't need one yet. Maybe when they come bundled with a 4k TV next year.

edit: Xbox BC is the best. Bought Sonic 2 and 3 and played with the kid.
