As much as I can logically say that was a dumb segment, I'm super excited for the brand split. If nothing else it is at least an opportunity for something different. A live, two hour WWE show with its own stories and roster with a babyface authority figure is something I want to watch.

I'm surprised they're differentiating between "Commissioner" and "GM".

My only fear is that Roman getting suspended changed Vince's mind about him being able to carry the brand and they switch it to Cena on Raw and Roman on Smackdown.

Well they will have completely separate writing teams unlike the brands now, which mix around a lot. But in the end they all still report to Vince so it remains to see how much of that will actually matter.
