Tonight's show was watchable for the most part. Nothing spectacular other than the Seth/Dean promo, but not a bad show at all. Mediocre is the word.

They were unscripted in NJPW. Now they have to stick to a script given to them by writers. It sounds like they are reading off a script because they are.

I know but man they sound really corny, especially gallows. Everyone else seems to have a natural delivery but those two sound like theyre trying way too hard

Was it ever confirmed they would have completely different writing teams? Hopefully it expands to commentary, production, camera, look, everything.

If Shane actually has some real say on Smackdown, I'm a little excited to see what he comes up with.

Of course, I'm afraid Dunn and the good ol' boys will get scared of their spots being taken and start sabotaging things.

I really wonder how they keep Shane and Steph on TV every week now. Do they just sit in the background of backstage segments and nod their heads while the GMs make the decisions?

Prediction for next week's Seth/Dean title match: if it's an actual finish, Dean wins, if not, Seth comes close and that's good enough for him going to SD and being their champ. Reigns wins at Battleground either way. All three get over and don't get over simultaneously and you never see the Shield triple threat again

Pfft, there's been only brief periods of actual no McMahon on Raw.

There's a couple of weeks after Survivor Series 1997 when Vince is ducking everyone.

Then...when Flair takes over Raw? Even then I bet Steph and Shane were on a bunch.

Finally there's a couple of years during the guest GM/Anon GM/Johnny Ace era where Vince wasn't always around and Steph was busy starting a family, and Shane was exiled. Vince wasn't on every week/month.

Yes, it's completely separate everything. Writing teams, referees, commentary teams, different colored ropes, different stages/sets. Only things constant between shows, AFAIK, are Vince and Dunn.

I'm under the impression that they won't be there weekly. I'd say for the first few weeks as it settles yeah they will be, but they'd probably make one or two appearances a month then with the GM handling the regular appearances once the brand split has settled.

FWIW, the plan for a while has been for Roman and Seth to be the main face/heel of Raw and for Cena/AJ to be the main two on SD. It's Vince though so it's possible that has changed.

I can't wait for the drama of Total Divas with Brie being mad Daniel's the Smackdown GM because he promised that with both of them retired they'd try to focus on their own lives or some shit.

I'm being optimistic and assuming they won't give Seth a cheap title win on Raw just for ratings pop so he can immediately lose it to Reigns 5 days later.

On the bright side, if they do go that route, the 4th title change in a month, then we can say the old brand split is officially back. Who will be the next Edge and get like 10 title reigns, none of which last more than 5 months

I actually don't expect the title to be split due to shenanigans. I expect it to just be Shane saying "hey we need a world champion, so we'll hold a tournament where the finals will be at Summerslam" and then it'll be Cena vs. AJ in the finals.

Have both Ambrose and Rollins pin Reigns. Split the title. Then one of them loses to AJ. Have Cenar chase AJ.

I was annoyed at the Rollins Report because it seems everyone has a talk-show segment, but that interview was legit hilarious. I love the fact Roman has the belt in every shot of him.
