July Wrasslin' |OT| ALT+CTRL DELETE DELETE DELETE NERO, IT'S OVAH!

lol, the Rock? why?

I like him but I mean...you mean in movies? The guy who was in Tooth Fairy and Game Plan?

Actually I can't talk, I'm still a forever Stallone backer even with Oscar and Stop or my Mom Will Shoot!

I think after Rocky, R3, R4, RB, Creed, First Blood & Demolition Man sly gets the pass.

Dwayne's never done anything nearly as fun. Hell I have more fun watching Sly's Judge Dredd then any dwayne film

Been busy and haven't been able to watch much wrasslin' lately.

Watching TNA's YouTube upload of The Final Deletion: The Aftermath. Holy fuck this dinner scene is beautiful. Matt Hardy man, who the fuck knew he had this kind of comedy in him...just waiting to be released onto the world.

It's like Mark Henry. Some guys don't unlock their true talent until the end of their careers.

Have we heard any draft rumours? Where are Styles and Owens likely to end up?
Rumors are probably pretty tight for this, word was that WWE hadn't even been telling the performers ahead of time where they are going. I would hope they start informing everyone this week.

The last draft in 2002, I think only the top 20 picks knew where they were going. Everyone else on the roster was instructed to go to WWF.com after RAW and see the outcome of the draft lottery to see what show they were on. Just absurd.

I don't do OTs anymore after ya'll criticized my WM31 thread that called out how much missed potential that WM had

I don't remember it. Did it have a terrible Sandman-tier title?

My crowning achievement is coming up with the Royal Rumble thread subtitle "Every Mark For Himself"

I went to the WrassleGAF HOF on that one.

On one of the wrasslin' podcasts this week, it was pointed out that it'd be dumb to do the draft in order starting at #1 and going down from there, as people are likely to just tune out after the top 10 or so, and kill the ratings on their very first night of the live show. But it is the WWE, so it wouldn't surprise me if that's exactly how they do it.

This week's Review-A-Wai apparently covers the very first WWF draft, so I'll be interested to hear how it was handled before.

I'll be listening to this on my commute back. I remember watching it long ago, but not remembering jack shit.

On last week's Smackdown the commentary team were already talking about how Dean Ambrose could be the #1 pick in the draft. It sounds like they are leaning that way. You can always count on WWE to choose the dumbest option when it comes to this stuff.

I mean... that's kinda how all drafts work. You tune in for the first couple of picks, then you get bored because drafts are boring and tune out.

With wrestling, at least you can book a sick main event match to keep people tuned in.

There is literally zero reason to not tell your talent where they are going ahead of time though. Which is what they did last time. I would think allowing your roster to actually prepare for their future working schedules is just a tad more important than worrying about picks getting leaked for this fake fucking sport.

Well, if you listen to Tazz (I know, it's a tall order) there is reasoning for it

Actually a good watch/listen.

Listening to what Tazz has to say it, which is valuable input since he's someone who went through the last draft, I still think there is not nearly a good enough reason to make the draft a shoot draft. So the commentary sounds legitimately surprised? Fucking stupid honestly.

what are the odds of they doing a "Drafted to SD then drafted back to Raw" gimmick again?

101%

Yeah I don't see the point. Especially with that shit announce team. I don't care if Byron Saxton is surprised.

Well since they're doing it on Smackdown, Ranallo's reactions should be pretty good.

Byron will be a plank of wood in a seat as usual.

I just discovered whatcultures King Ross, funny stuff.

I think the funniest thing he did was in one of his earlier WTF moments he shit on someone for making a sign that said "I am a loyal servant" instead of "I am a loyal subject". Overall he is pretty good though

What do you guys think of TJ Perkins' chances in the CWC? As a fellow pinoy I want this guy to go far and watching the bracketology makes him the biggest face in the world in my eyes. It's also why I can never hate on Batista.

It's also overwhelmingly heartening to see Bryan take this broadcasting job in stride. Would rather want him to be commentator of Smackdown instead of the
general manager.

Ranallo, Bryan, and Graves would be my dream team.

I have no idea who they have in mind to win CWC, it seems like it can go any direction.
