All the rumors about Smackdown seem on point. I think it'll be the better of the two shows.

However,
Daniel Bryan
as the GM is an extreme buzzkill.

Should I spoiler tag any talk of this? I get it a couple hours earlier in Ireland than America does.

I'll be honest, we always post Main event spoilers because hardly anyone watches it. Hearing opinions on the lesser shows make more watch them probably.

First match is The Ascension and The Vaudevillains are tag-teaming against The Golden Truth, Apollo Crews and Jack Swagger.

Oh boy, I really wonder who will win. The fact that The Vaudevillains have been ruined so quickly is almost impressive.

Superstars will be the main show, where the best from the other two brands will engage in epic battles. It'll be just like watching the Superbowl every week, but better.

You laugh, but before Superstars began they hyped it up like crazy, saying it'd be the place for unique and crazy match ups. We got Matt Hardy vs Undertaker for the first one, and then it became well, the Superstars we know.

Vaudevillian had a shit gimmick even in NXT, who thought of it should be fire.

I heard the whole Vaudeville thing was done by one of them on the Indies. You get to choose your gimmick in NXT, right? So it makes me wonder why the fuck these wrestlers would choose to give themselves a character that definitely would not make them go anywhere.

I figure it will air the same. It's just a show where a few matches happen, sometimes a segment sets it up. Most matches are pretty much where the people who never will get a story-line go for random fights. It's taped before Smackdown, so I guess that will stick.

On Thursday’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that Superstars and Main Event will also have separate rosters. The RAW roster will perform on Superstars, while the SmackDown roster will perform on Main Event.

As Aiii noted, Meltzer on his radio show last night mentioned that Main Event would have SD roster and Superstars would have the Raw roster. That makes sense given the taping schedule.

Sick. I rarely drive on Memorial, though. At least in your neck of the woods. Even though I live between Sheridan and Memorial.

Anyway, my power is still out -- monitoring it from work; no estimated time of restoration; customers affected: 1323 -- so I may stay over at the lady's in rich town. I hope she likes watching WCW Mayhem '99.

Also, that blows. I got all highway until I get home. I live in a forest so it's time to see the damage, hopefully there's none. I had to go out to south side earlier to get my juice, always a painful drive, just even moreso without lights.

Went on a date on Monday, girl insisted on coming back to mine afterwards despite protestations on my part. It's funny how a great date dynamic can turn awkward so quickly.

At least I discovered a great little cocktail place in town though.
