Ridiculous that he never got the TNA title though as a character he never did much for me until the mid-life crisis kicked in. He probably didn't help his own case by always dressing like he did tax preparation near the registers at Walmart.

I think he said in a shoot that they offered to put him over in world title feuds. I think he said ROH did the same too. He turned it down because he felt he was too old to be the face of a company, and he was much happier doing fun and less stressful/important stuff in the background. As silly as people thought it was at the time, the most fun he had was the era in TNA where he was dancing during his entrance and sipping appletinis backstage

That's what I meant by mid-life crisis Daniels. Seemed like he was having a ton of fun doing that. The goofiness even made me finally appreciate Kazarian.

They wish Balor had an edge to him like Orton does. They've just gone so far out of their way to show off handsome,likable,somewhat timid Lego enthusiast Finn to make the Demon mean anything.

Even Adrian Neville was less vanilla in his NXT run.

Still enjoy his matches quite a bit though.

Seen enough of Balor as a heel that he'd just come off like fake AJ or fake Rollins though as a heel.

I don't think AJ nor Rollins show the same viciousness Balor shows sometimes, and that's while being a face, so in my opinion there's a lot of potential there.

Of course I'm one of the very few here who actually enjoy watching Balor so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

There is no viciousness there that anyone's going to buy. His paint shit is a complete farce that he did nothing to protect.

Naito was kind of "eh" when he came back from his injury. At least to me. That was my first exposure to him. I guess it didn't help that he was having a bunch of matches with Yujiro.

Also the Stardust Press sucks. I hope he doesn't do it anymore.
