I can't wait to see Nak vs AJ.
Also the debut of Mike Bennett. Woooooooooo!

What about AJ vs ibushi
MITB worth watching at all?
Ibushi for sure. I wish Ibushi and NJPW could work something out to where he isn't a jabronie on the lower card. What is WrassleGAF's favorite, Nakamura vs AJ or Nakamura vs Ibushi?
I still think Nak vs Ibushi was the better match, even though both were great.

So have you all come to terms with the fact that Ellsworth is winning the briefcase?
Cause it's happening.
You can take that...
To the bank.

Nakamura vs Ibushi easily for me, then again that show was my first NJPW show I watched so I'm biased towards it.
I think Nakamura vs AJ is overrated though. A good match, but I expected a lot more out of a match between those two.

Ibushi not signing was the smartest thing he could ever do.I feel Ibushi secured jobs for Kendrick and Alexander during the CW tournament. I wish he signed that NXT contract, which currently feels stale.

Auatin/Bret with current WWE camera work and commentary is like a 2 star match.

Samoa Joe sheds a solitary tear.not to mention the match would have literally been stopped dead in its tracks as soon as blood was shed

NXT has been much, much better lately. I feel it's really the best it's been in a long time. It's really the only thing in WWE worth looking forward to now. Even the MYC, as excited as I am for it, loses so much hype for me given the fact that it's gonna sit in the can for a fucking month after they tape it and they are doing the finale in front of a SD crowd that will give it the 205 Live treatment.
That decision has good intentions, but that has DOA written all over it. What a terrible idea.
It doesn't make sense though. The CWC aired weekly over the exact same period last year, and not only did it not suffer from it, but it was consistently the top watched show on the Network every week. It sends a terrible message regardless for them to not show the same faith in the MYC.
It's pretty cool that ajpw has carved a nice niche out for itself. They basically switched places with Noah
Honestly going to be tough for them to show less faith in the tournament considering all the winner has to look forward to is eventually being called up into one of the two current main roster womens divisions, where you'll either be squashed for liking the sport or have men win stuff for you because you can't do it yourself
Optimists will try and say it's not that bad, but the last time they openly gave this little shits about the division, Gail Kim had to tell management backstage she eliminated herself from a battle royal and was quitting the company, because management weren't watching the match as it happened on their own program
First House of Horrors
Then Alexa/Bayley on a pole
Now women's MITB
At least WWE have accepted nothing they do can positively top any Okada/Omega match this year, so they're only going out of their way to make sure New Japan can't beat them for worst match too at this point. What's going to top women's MITB? Find out repeatedly over the next 5.5 months!
Attendance has been on the rise too, and there are some fresh title matches with Ishikawa. Ishikawa made a name for himself with BJW and DDT, so he should be a good touring champion for AJPW.
There's something about this title run that reminds me of Morishima's run in ROH, and it's not because they're both Japanese. It's how they are these athletic hosses who dethroned fan favorites suddenly and now have some new title matches that they can use to elevate folks. Lee vs. Miyahara deserves a bigger story since that would implode NEXTREAM, but they can have Lee face SUWAMA without too much build. Similarly, Sapolsky paired Morishima with surprising contenders like Strong, Brent Albright, and Claudio to start building the idea that these guys could main event at some point.
That new MvC game is so fucking embarrassing. Minus 500 stars.
Hyperbole is cool.
People forgot how bad the Divas division stuff actually was really, really fast.
They don't have to forget, they can just watch Lana vs Naomi
And that was clearly a one-off thing done because they had no other option for this month and needed a match on the PPV. It was even presented as Lana being bad and undeserving.
And Bayley vs Bliss
What on earth could you mean, OIN?
