Even weed can't make what I want happen because of Vince. :(
What if we give the weed to Vince and then Photoshop the heads of Christian and CM Punk onto the bodies of Mason Ryan and 'roided up Batista?
He'll think they're musclebound freaks and green light their pushes.

Then we'll tell him Trish Stratus from 10 years ago is waiting for him in bed when in reality it will be Melina without makeup.

I thought Vince McMahon already has a stash of weed hidden somewhere. Weed is what made him decide if WWE should go PG or not.

The pre-sale code for the 2011 WWE Night of Champions PPV is CHAMPION. The pre-sale for the Buffalo, NY event at the HSBC Arena will kick off tomorrow 6/23 at 10 AM EST.

And now to decide if it's worth the $300 a ticket, or if I should settle for being just behind the floor seating and save $200 a ticket.

I'd say first three rows only and if you can't pull those, just shoot for a lower level seat, hopefully near the center of the building.

You know damn well there's still a handful doing it now, if not more. I bet Orton is one. Not that he's huge like Dave, but he's bigger than he was last year. He's tall, but always been lean. He is looking more like his 2005-2006 days, which is when he got caught before. Vince won't bust him because that's his boy - he has given more him more chances than any other wrestler in recent memory.

Just downloaded the CM Punk theme - This Fire Burns. I can't stop listening and for some reason I feel uplifted. God bless CM Punk!

SMH @ the missed potential of the original Nexus. The hours proceeding that event were probably the HOTTEST the WWE had seen since HBK turned on Hogan, July 4th, 2005. I can't believe they didn't capitalize off of that energy. GotDAMMIT, man.

they don't know how.

When they strike gold, they just repeat the same thing for 4 or 5 weeks because most of the writers literally come from daytime soap operas and have no idea how to make a compelling wrestling storyline.

What should have happened was Nexus basically hijacking most of the titles by working together as a unit. They did that eventually with the tag titles but kind of just flipped the tag titles off of them IIRC.

You should have had Slater and Gabriel getting the tag titles, maybe with interference from Otunga and Tarver.

Barrett should have gotten the title at SOME point, particularly when he ended up getting Cena in his back pocket. Maybe have Bryan Danielson's return be him showing up and helping barrett in a title match.

You should have had one or two existing high profile superstars (like Punk) join or team up with Nexus, WITHOUT breaking up the existing group.

They had tons of little parts of Nexus right. The winningof the tag titles, Wade Barrett's push, Punk joining them, taking out Vince, having Cena rally a whole bunch of other wrestlers to unite against the Nexus in backstage brawls/ambushes and matches....

They just didn't know how to lay it out properly, or they would back off and hit a reset button (Getting rid of Danielson was a bad, bad, bad idea, regardless of backstage politics, and the way they handled every aspect of Cena in Nexus, from the second week all the way through Cena's "firing" and from then through Wade's burial under a pile of chairs, was absolutely terrible. Gooker award worthy, even.)

They probably had decent plans .. then saw the ratings breakdown during Nexus segments, got cold feet, rewrote the story line .. rest is history or should I say the end of Nexus. Even with the reset of Nexus with Punk as the leader .. no title means no validation. I don't get that they don't get that. All the major stables have solidified themselves with the leader having a title run. Four Horsemen, Evolution, Legacy, NWO, etc ..

Thank you, with 9 minutes to spare.

The biggest memory I'll have of Nexus is Cena no selling the DDT on concrete at SummerSlam 2010.

I was convinced that WWE had reached its biggest high since at least 2005 with that angle and that things would keep getting better with that and the whole "youth movement" that would give us new main event wrestlers. And here I am now thinking that WWE has never been so crap in my tenure of watching. Funny what a difference a year makes.

The Nexus angle officially died when this happened:

Well that was fun. I phoned the 800 number asking how I could enter the code and the lady said "my notes say you need to call this number". So I call the number and I'm told the number is only for people who need wheelchair seating and I need to go online. I told her I can't find where to enter it and she puts me on hold. While I'm on hold I just googled it and found it.

4th row, appears to be camera side isn't too shabby. I searched a little bit after my purchase just for kicks and found second row behind the commentators. Always happens that way :(

A little over a month after the group debuted, Cena has already rallied his Justice League and ran them out of the building. Not to mention that he had already killed both Tarver and Young at the PPV prior to that. Then they go on to LOSE at Summerslam in their first official match as a stable.

COME. ON.

Sigh, I can't bother getting frustrated with that angle anymore.

I felt the same way. Watching that video and comparing it to where the current Nexus/Corre are is humiliating to say the least.

Edit: Tarver, he could have went far. His mic skills were pretty damned good. While he was green in the ring, you don't really need to be an in ring technician to make it big in the WWE.

-- CM Punk's Twitter message Monday concerning his pending departure from WWE was copied verbatim from a post he made in June 2005 on his LiveJournal account (available here) regarding what was to have been his final match for Ring of Honor.

Days before ROH's Death before Dishonor III event, Punk wrote: "I knew I was gone at the beginning of the year. I just woke up one day and knew. That's the way I work a lot of the time. I think it's creepy too, but it's really helpful. I honestly knew i'd be history by June. Come say goodbye on Saturday, I promise to go out with a bang. Trust me. XxX"

Punk defeated Austin Aries to win the ROH World Championship and remained with the organization for an additional two months.

Fast forward to Monday, Punk wrote on Twitter regarding his pending departure from WWE: "I knew I was gone at the beginning of the year. I just woke up one day and I knew. That's the way I work a lot of the time. I think it's creepy too, but it's really helpful. I knew I'd be history by July. Come say goodbye on July 17th. I promise to go out with a bang. Trust me. XxX"

Bye bye. Thank you for your contributions in the ring. I admit, I only knew of you by name before you came to the WWE. Hell, one of your entrance tracks was "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour which is one of my favorite songs of all time.

Punk's the only person left in the company who has "it" IMO. It should be completely obvious to even the blindest of haters that he carries himself around the ring, through promos, and in matches differently than everyone else on the current roster. He's the only one who appears completely natural out there, more so because he's surrounded by a bunch of robots who just go through the motions without even a HINT of spontaneity, or awareness of their surroundings. Guys show flashes like R-Truth the past 2 months, but it's always there with Punk.

I probably sound like the markiest fanboy ever, but I'm just bein' real dawg.

Barrett should have won the title and Cena should have been "fired" and off tv. Barrett could have feuded with Orton for two months and then Cena wants in the Rumble, but the evil Nexus rigs it so he gets # 1. He wins the Rumble and then saves WWE at Wrestlemania by winning the belt back, along with the other members of Nexus (who would have collected the titles to control WWE) all losing to the Superfriends resetting all the titles and storylines for post Wrestlemania.
