First time I've stepped into a Kmart in years.

$20 for both DVDs is a pretty great deal.

crowd was dead last night at raw...

shoulda just kept austin and vince in the ring talkin shit that was bangin.

end of the day...the current roster cant be saved by the previous one...everyone has been fed to 2 guys now nothing really matters...

It was basically a 3 hour Raw...which was the case last time Raw was here (last year's draft) After Del Rio cut his promo, I was ready to go. We only saw the first 20 minutes of Tough Enough on the titantron. They did Superstar matches after...then Stone Cold showed up.

BTW...JTG got his own talk show on NXT!

Orton can't carry a show. Not sure why Vince and Co. have this theory.

Losing Rey Mysterio and Del Rio hurt more than anything else, though. Maybe not losing both, but they should have kept at least one on Smackdown.

Smackdown Spoiler time

- Below are the WWE Smackdown taping results from Roanoke, Virginia:

Smackdown Spoilers brought to you by www. SuperfriendsUniverse.com.

Christian to start show with promo saying that he was curious what kind of reaction he would get when he came out. If you cheered for him you understood why he did what he did last week. He says that he doesn't think anyone quite gets it. He says he is through with everyone. He is done with all his peeps and doesn't want to talk to any of his so called peeps ever again. He proceeds to call Michael Cole into the ring which he does. He tells him he believes he's earned one more shot for the World Heavyweight Championship. He says he has a lot to get off his chest. He says that he doesn't understand why the so called peeps, the same people that blew up Twitter and emails when he was screwed out of the title 5 days after he earned it. He continues with asking Cole what kind of show Teddy Long was running asking the useless fans what they think about matches and ruining his 17 years of hard work. He says that he feels disrespected by everyone and especially Randy Orton for accepting the challenge in the first place. He tells Cole to ask the people a question for him since he isn't talking to them anymore. He tells Cole to ask them if they think he should be World Heavyweight Champion. He does and the crowd boos heavy. Christian gets back on the mic and says that's what he expected that the people were clueless and he would be Champion again and he would do it himself and not share it with anyone of the fans. Good heel turn.

They show The Corre walking in the back....

Corre vs Ezekiel Jackson and The Usos in a 6 man tag match is the opening contest for Smackdown. Wade Barrett leaves in the middle towards the end of the match. Ezekiel Jackson torture racks Justin Gabriel for the win as Barrett watches from the stage. Pretty good tag match.

Backstage promo with Sheamus and Teddy Long demanding a match with Christian tonight. Teddy Long says he's going to put him with someone else that is upset and says he's going to put him with Randy Orton tonight.

Backstage promo with Slater and Gabriel telling Barrett that The Corre was over!

Trent Baretta vs The Great Khali's rookie from last year (didn't catch the name) w/ Khali at ringside. Loud USA chants during the match. Quick job match. Baretta got a small amount of offense in but was distracted by Khali when he went to the top rope setting up the finish. Khali with the vice grip after the match.

Backstage with new WWE diva AJ. Tamina gave her cheese as a welcome gift. Angie talked some junk and Tamina said that was small talk for a girl who would be alone in the ring tonight. Natalyia came up next to Angie and Tamina sniffed and asked if someone cut the cheese. Corny as hell. LOL!!!.

Tamina vs AJ is up next. Typical Divas match which ended with AJ rolling Tamina up for the win.

Randy Orton shown walking in the back...

Orton out with the World Title to a HUGE ovation. He cuts a promo about Christians promo earlier. He calls Christian out which brings us to the Titantron. Christian tells Randy to ask the fans what they want. Christian tells Randy that he wants one more match for the title. He says he was the referee last week and could have counted his shoulders but he didn't want to beat Sheamus. They make a match for Capitol Punishment. Christian then leaves and says "See you in DC Randy".. I'm guessing they will make it a triple threat or totally ignore Sheamus all together.

Backstage they show Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase talking about their partnership. Rhodes calls for his bagged and tells him to put a bag on his head and get out of his face (pointless).

Sin Cara vs Ted DiBiase is next. (Cara's pyro is EXTREMELY loud).. Sin Cara won via DQ when Rhodes grabbed him from outside the ring. Post match beat down until Daniel Bryan ran in and made the save.

Teddy Long comes out and makes it a tag team match. Cara and Bryan vs DiBiase and Rhodes is now up...Heels control most of the match except for a few spots with most of the heat on Sin Cara. Match ended when Daniel Bryan locked his submission on DiBiase from the top rope and made him submit.

Johnny Curtis in the back saying that he won NXT 3 months ago and we only saw him twice since. He said he wasn't mad but he had one of these which he revealed a potato chip on his shoulder.. Another corny joke LOL!

Backstage promo (way too many of these... Crowd is getting pissed) with Orton talking about his match with Sheamus.

Sheamus comes out. Apparently it's a No DQ match with Orton. Orton comes out to another huge ovation. Let's Go Randy chants throughout the show. Sheamus starts the match until Orton takes over shortly after. Match goes out to the floor quickly and then back in rather quickly. Typical back and forth match with little uses of weapons. Nice couple of spots with the kendo stick. Christian runs in and tried to Killswitch Orton and loses it and rolls out of the ring. Orton RKOs Sheamus and runs into a belt shot from Christian. Setting Sheamus up for a crawl to pin to end the match and show. Christian poses with the belt over Orton and leaves with the belt.

After the cameras were off Sheamus and Christian return to beat on Orton. Orton RKOs Sheamus... DiBiase and Rhodes run in and eat RKOs.
Overall a good show..

Christian gets buried in DC. Great.

The e isn't sure what to do with christian, are they?
This is a part of a program that they started building as soon as he won the belt. He's probably the only one they've had a clear plan for. I kind of feel like you just really wanted to hit "reply" and had no idea where to go from there.

Barrage said:
Starts AND Ends the show. Stands over the champ as the show ends. Boy, they sure buried him.

Ugh.

That all just means he is getting burried in DC at the PPV. I never said he was buried at the Smackdown taping

you fault me for being confused by all this?

What is there to be confused about? Face wins, another face ruins his moment, first face gets pissy and jealous and turns heel. It's classic, standard stuff.

I remember when Cactus Jack turned heel because he was getting fucked up but the fans just chanted "Austin" instead.

Warrior is a nut job though. I'm not sure I'd believe anything he says over Hogan.

I like how he criticizes Hogan about living the gimmick, but behind him is nothing but Warrior stuff including a weird painting.

And the dude freaking changed his name to Warrior. Legally.

People are being premature if they foresee Christian's burial:
he's far more likely to beat Orton as a heel than he ever was as a face.

I just find it funny that Vince is doing everything possible to make Orton into the next Stone Cold Steve Austin and the ratings are plummeting.

Lunchbox said:
fuck yeah that'll raise them ratings

it hasnt worked for 6 months but it will now
That part happened after the cameras were off and won't be part of the broadcast. It's to send the 10 year olds home happy.

Oh man, the NJPW Super Juniors finals this Friday are going to be awesome;

Semi-Final #1;
Prince Devitt vs Ryusuke Taguchi
Semi-Final #2;
Kota Ibushi vs Davey Richards

The first match should be awesome as
Devitt & Taguchi are well versed as tag partners
and the second will be amazing if
their match at EVOLVE 1 is any indication
. Can't wait to get my hands on this tournament.

wtf @ those smackdown spoilers...why arent they doing this with mark henry, christian was a face with a built in (Peeps!) gimmick why would you just dash that away ? For ortan of all people. He's already over and you sacrificed a FACE to put him in the no1 spot on Smackdown just so that....what? So he can stand around doing nothing with no one to fight? Who will ortan have to fued with now? Austin was great cause of the undertaker, the rock, shawn michaels, edge, HHH, Bret Hart, etc etc . Who on smackdown would even make ortan look that worthy now that they've all been smashed by Ortan.

Your spelling of Ortan is STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!

WWE legend Randy Savage (a/k/a Randy Poffo) died due to a condition known as ventricular fibrulation, according to his brother Lanny Poffo. The condition is described as a severely abnormal heart rhythm that can lead to fainting or heart attacks

"What it means to me is, it was a beautiful way to die," Poffo told Bright House Sports Network. "It's quick and painless." Savage died on May 20 at age 58. To read more on the story, go to Baynews9.com.

Powell's POV: Poffo credited his brother's widow Lynn with saving the life of a motorcyclist by steering the vechicle that Savage was driving away from traffic and into a tree. The official autopsy and toxicology reports have yet to be released.

Regarding the Smackdown spoilers
Doesn't this leave Orton as the only main event face on the brand? hell even the face mid card is just Sin Cara, Daniel Bryan and.....um Ezekiel Jackson?
Smackdown has a pitiful roster as far as the "entertainment" aspect goes (as in it lacks good mic users and face wrestlers for the standard fan to rally behind), it's no wonder the ratings are dropping. There are some good matches at least but I feel this is the weakest the brand has been in years.

ROH have finalised all of the world title matches for the 'Best in the World 2011' iPPV, live from NYC on June 26th;

ROH WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH; Eddie Edwards (c) vs Davey Richards

The American Wolves collide as Davey Richards challenges his long-time tag team partner Eddie Edwards for the ROH World Heavyweight Title. This wasn't a match that Davey sought, but Eddie felt the need to prove that he could defend his belt against Richards, a man that many thought would be the next world champ after Roderick Strong. Eddie has been through a number of gruelling title defences against the likes of Chris Hero and Roderick Strong, can he withstand this fresh test or will Davey Richards become the 15th ROH World Champion? And what will either outcome mean for the future of the American Wolves?

ROH WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE - 4-WAY ELIMINATION MATCH; Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (c) vs The Kings of Wrestling vs The Briscoe Brothers vs The All-Night Express

It doesn't get much bigger than this and Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas will surely have their work cut out for them as they attempt to defend their ROH Tag Team Titles against not one, but three of the top teams in ROH today. The Kings of Wrestling will be looking to recapture the belts they held for over a year, but the inclusion of the volatile Briscoe Brothers and up-and-comers Kenny King & Rhett Titus of the All-Night Express complicates matters. And speaking of The Bricoes & ANX, can their hatred be put on standby while they challenge for the belts? Or will this blood feud reignite in New York City?

ROH TV TITLE MATCH; Christopher Daniels (c) vs El Generico

With the sale of ROH to the Sinclair Broadcasting Group and the imminent return of ROH on TV in a month or two the ROH TV Title has been brought out of hiatus, but since ROH on HDnet ended the ROH TV Champion Christopher Daniels has become a changed man, turning on his friends and fans by joining up with the insidious Truth Martini's House of Truth faction. But he'll have a tough time keeping hold of his belt as he has to face 'The Generic Luchadore' El Generico, one of the most celebrated wrestlers on the independent circuit today. Can 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels retain his title in NYC, or will it be a celebration for the former ROH Tag champ El Generico?

Also signed to appear;

. Jay Lethal making his eagerly anticipated return to ROH!
. 'The Notorious 187' Homicide
. 'The Prodigy' Mike Bennett
. The Embassy
. Colt Cabana
. Steve Corino
. Michael Elgin
. Adam Cole & Kyle O'Reilly

Live from New York City on June 26th via Internet Pay Per View for just $14.99;

Anyone else going to be watching what is almost guaran-damn-teed to be one of the best wrestling shows of the year?

Yeah. Only thing that can happen now is a change. But we've seen glimpses of that with
Justin Gabriel
and
Heath Slater
.

I personally think somebody like
Gabriel can get over really well just based on the 450 splash alone.

Rosa Mendes had an apparent "wardrobe malfunction" at Smackdown tapings:

I was at the Smackdown Taping in Roanoke, VA last night. There was a Dark Match between Rosa Mendes and Natalya. The match ended very shortly with the ref calling for the bell giving the win to Natalya for no apparent reason. Rosa had her arms covering her chest and was quickly moving to the back with a lot of the male fans cheering at ringside. During this time it seemed like they were trying to keep the focus on Natalya as she acted overly excited about the win as if trying to keep the fans attention away from Rosa. The Roanoke Civic center staff we overheard said she had a wardrobe malfunction.
