Insurance won't matter if you're going for sure.

It was $80 total for 2 tickets from ticketmaster like a week before the show. I dunno how I lucked into getting it unless the WWE does the whole keeping a block of tickets until a week before a show like they do for Wrestlemania. I just wanted something away from the tron and not by the ramp. Been there done that.

damn i read this after i buy tix ><

i thought the $80 was a typo lol well hope my seats arent too bad for the price

Taking that route is more of a risk I think. I was thinking of doing it, but I don't know yet. -_-

can u still cancel though if u already ordered?
edit:just read the faq so for 3 days im guessing i have to call cs to cancel? unless i wait a week before the event and get better seats for the same price

I'm thinking of doing that but I have no idea yet. Could end up either having better seats, or shitty seats.

Anyone have links to this week's Smackdown?

All this talk of buying tickets for WWE got me to start looking and the Money in the Bank PPV next month is happening at Allstate Arena about 20 minutes from where I live. I'm heavily considering going at 100 dollars per ticket at the lower level.
Well MITB last year had two great ladder matches and GODDAMN KANE TITLE VICTORY! Tears of joy, well for me anyway.
So basically what i'm saying is if you could potentially be watching an awesome ppv. The best I can hope for is an episode of Raw with my UK based events.

Leslie Nielsen couldn't resist one last joke.

His tombstone in the city's historic Evergreen Cemetery reads "Let 'er rip."

It's better known as the final resting place of Fort Lauderdale founders, including Frank and Ivy Stranahan. Before Nielsen, its famous residents largely consisted of corrupt Sheriff Walter Clark and Hall of Fame professional wrestler Shinya Hashimoto.

Okay... That can't be right.... or its a totally different Hashimoto they are talking about.

Over the last few days, a number of readers have written and asked just what exactly went down at the end of the Smackdown taping in Des Moines, Iowa.

To review, here is what Matt Holcomb wrote:

"Mark Henry comes out and he and Referee Scott Armstrong stand in the ring for 15-20 minutes. Mark Henry tries to talk in to a mic but it is turned off. Scott joins in flexing his guns. Tony Chimel comes over the mic and thanks us for coming as we wait for Mark Henry's opponent. Finally about 10:30, Mark Henry leaves the ring and goes backstage and Tony thanks us again from coming. Before Mark Henry goes backstage, Hornswoggle's music followed by The Great Khali's and then finally Vince's music plays. Weird."

I am told the entire scenario was a complete rib on Mark Henry to see how long Henry would stay in the ring before getting angry and storming off. Henry was actually told that the company would be closing the taping with a dark match between he and Sin Cara. Henry and Cara actually called spots for the match earlier in the evening.

Henry was sent to the ring and went to pick up the ring mic to cut a promo to set up Cara's entrance. Only the mic was ordered cut. Then, Henry began to stall, not realizing what was going on. It went on and on until different music cues were played. Henry finally stormed to the back, demanding to know what was going on.

According to numerous sources, it was appropriate that Vince McMahon's music played last, as the entire thing was his personal brainchild. I am told that McMahon, who had actually already left the taping, was directing the entire thing via cell phone. One source in WWE production also noted that Kevin Dunn was "howling" as it was going on, completely in on the rib.

A number of the wrestlers I spoke to thought the rib was funny, but misplaced. As it was explained to me, it's one thing to pull a joke on one of the boys, but when the actual company is doing it, it sends a bad message to everyone, especially when it's a long tenured veteran like Mark Henry.

It was also pointed out to me that the rib wasn't just at Henry's expense, but at the expense of the fans who paid to come to the show and ended up sitting around for an extra 30 minutes before they exited, on a work and school night. As one wrestler said to me, "It was funny to do it to Mark, but not where and when they did it. It just goes to show the bubble the company exists in. No one thought they might piss off the crowd or hurt the return date. Who wants to spend money and have their time wasted, especially when at the end, there was no advertised main event?"

Christian vs. Randy Orton had been locally advertised to close the Des Moines taping.

Good, replace Teddy as Smackdown GM please. Thanks.
Wouldn't be too bad actually.

Superstars had some good action again this week. Still can't get over Otunga and his awful attempt at a finisher.

EDIT: I was watching older videos, mostly with Austin/Bret Hart's feud. Still recall vaguely the Bret Hart-Rocky Maivia main event match, a time in Raw where the midcard talent got a great back and forth match with the top guys. Now, we have Swagger getting 5mod'd from Cener.

I don't speak reality. Why? Because my NAME, my NAME is Alberto Del RRRRRRRRRRRRIIOoo, but you already know that.

Reminds me of that one MSG house show when Vince McMahon stormed to the ring during a Rhyno vs. Tajiri match. He grabbed a mic saying no one came here to watch Rhyno vs. Tajiri and told them to get the hell out so they could start the Diva swimsuit contest.

:lol

Didn't see anyone post this

"Former WWE creative team member Court Bauer a message on Twitter noting that he had a meeting in Stamford, Conn. "Interesting meeting and day here in Stamford, Bauer wrote. "Deja vu all over again." He also included a photo of WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Conn. You can check it out at www.Twitter.com/CourtBauer. "

prowrestling.net

He is very well respected as a good booker and isn't Paul Heyman a big fan of his?

Looks like Mick Foley is done with TNA.

Apparently, he was mad they didn't do enough to promote his outside projects.

Jesus Christ TNA. Do you have to fuck up everything.

The longer this shit goes on the less I care if the company makes it or not.

Just when I thought to myself, "hey, this is a pretty damn good match between Brian Kendrick and Kazarian", what do they do? Have Abyss run in and ruin one of the most decent things I've seen in the past months on TNA. Fucking hell.
First Jay Lethal and now Mick?

Screw this company!

TNA fails on every fucking level. They've done too much stupid shit to have any respect for them anymore. I only look forward to the spoilers to laugh at the next stupid shit they do.

You're like 4 years late for a reasonable time to start not giving a shit about that company.

He does to me damnit! :'(

If you want, I could have Lunchbox throw on a wig, gain 300 lbs, come out and greet your city by name, make a few corny jokes about being an aging legend, then start shrieking to show that he's being serious now, and punch himself in the head until he bleeds.

lol, it's so true though, obviously he doesn't give a shit about TNA and is on cruise control, but why would he when TNA doesn't give a shit about themselves or the fans?

Well I only started watching when the Main Event Mafia was going on.

It's not like it's easy for the common person over here to watch wrestling on tv if you know what I mean.
I don't think a single station carries any wrestling here right now.
I know, I know, shitty country, but I'm kinda used to that. Don't even bother watching cable tv anymore. Haven't done so for the past 2 years.

Mick Foley being gone from TNA is fine by me. It's not like he was contributing in any meaningful way.

"--The reason The Network storyline ended up making no sense is because Mick Foley asked for his release due to creative differences and so they had to write him out. He has not officially been released but it is expected to happen shortly. Although the original storyline they had probably made no sense either."

-Meltzer

Guy deserves to go back to WWE. I think he could make a meaningful impact as either gm or as a manager for an upcoming wrestler.

Yes, let's have Mick Foley completely destroy Zack Ryder's appeal by being the camera hogging black hole that he is.
