My wife and I are in agreement: Just because you like something, your liking it doesn't neccesarily make it 'good'.

EXAMPLE- My wife loves Aqua. You know, the sugary sweet euro-pop band. However, she recognizes the fact that, although she likes it, Aqua isn't the second coming of Jesus. It's not even the second coming of ABBA. She realizes the difference between her liking Aqua, and the band being 'good'.

I think a lot of people fail to make that distinction.

Yep.. there is no objective truth (including THIS "truth" :p)

Ofcourse if everyone accpeted this the world (particularly the forums, would be a boring place).

I agree completely. I mean, I like black people and chinese people, but that doesn't make them good.

Aqua isn't even the second coming of Rednex.

I like Kenny Rogers. I understand he isn't exactly John Lennony, but I still love him. It's a guilty pleasure.

I Just Stopped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In, or Islands in the Stream?

Huge difference.

I trust my instincts.

Skittles, Switchfoot, Caedmon's Call, baseball, borsalino's, Firefly, pretty girls, San Diego...

I can't go wrong.

Do you and your wife agree on any other universally recognised facts? I spend time with my wife agreeing that two is one more than one and that a red spot is different from a yellow square. I don't then POST IT ON FORUMS!
I don't like this thread. Therefore, it cannot be good. Wait a minute...
The two things are not mutually inclusive! I think we have a solution!

You (and your wife) need to get out more.

Only the minority can decide what is good as we all know the majority are stupid fucks.

This causes a dilema which we face every day of our lives.
