I tried to go in either one of Montreal's show or Hull/Ottawa's but I'm so busy,... I can't.

They sold out 7 nights in a row in NYC.. and I don't have tickets for any of those shows I'm going to hang around the venue and she if I can find a ticket for a reasonable price or get in for free..

You won't be disappointed. I saw the 3rd show of the warm-up tour back in spring, and they were great. They can only have tightened the screws more

Man, I have no clue what to expect, I'm not sure if the hype is that big here in Montreal. I know the Friday show sold out within a day, but the Saturday show still has tickets left. I'm wondering if I should bother camping out all that early or not.

I heard the Pixies praise, so I bought "Surfer Rosa" about a year ago.

Pretty average album if you ask me. Do they have a better one, or if I don't like "Rosa," should I just accept that I don't like the Pixies?

You could try Doolittle?

I'd give them a few more listens, and if that doesn't work, then I guess they're not your thing. No big deal, they're not for everyone

Get Doolittle. It's a lot better than Surfer Rosa, and more acessible as well. If you don't like that, then all hope is lost.

I can't fucking wait! Doors open at 7, I'll try to get there a bit before if I can. Supposedly the sound at last night's show wasn't too hot if you were sitting higher up, so I'm going to have to get a good spot.
