I was watching sporto (the nightly sports news program in Japan, hosted by Mr. Winning Eleven Jon Kabira) and they showed one of the most well designed game ads I have ever seen.
The Rogue Galaxy commercial is about 20 seconds of different in-game clips from the trailer, followed by a message saying "In 4 Months". Everyone always complains about game ads not showing enough game, etc., but this ad nailed it. It let an amazing game shine for itself and said all you needed to know.... 4 months.
Kudos to Sony for an awesome ad.
