Funny, I must have dropped 8 whales altogether... I feel like 2-5's drop rate must have been boosted since you need her to finish a quest. It always feels bad feeding them away because of their "rarity".

With how important AACI is, I'm glad that they keep introducing basically a new ship every year. But man, maybe they should be in LSC too.

I wonder what HTML5 will do... I guess KCV will die. :(

Try to level some AV (Chitose and Chiyoda) and some CAV (Mogami class). They are quite useful and easy to level up. Also don't neglect DDs and subs.

Time to buy more slots lol. Suzutsuki is the 3rd one right? As Hatsuzuki is the fourth. Still waiting for Yuuzuki. I want to complete my Mutsuki class ships :)

As flash getting the way of dodo, it's a good news. Not for KC3 and KCV tho. Wonders how long they require to switch the program to use HTML5. Going to be painful months or so before we get the assist back. Please don't change right before the event lol.

Poi seems to be the only standalone viewer with English development now. I'm not sure if Electric Observer ever got a full English translation. Or maybe I just give in and use KC3 Kai like 99% of people still playing the game. I just really like KCV and how it works.

Cleared 5-5 this month without being able to S rank the boss node with Sara and DDs. Gotta wait and try again next month as boss node post clear(and LD) are cancerous.

Going to try and clear Suzuya quest this week. Hopefully not that hard.

That Saratoga quest is driving me up the wall.

Suzuya Kou (CVL) quest done. 6-2 was easy, 6-5 took some tries, but not as bad as 5-5. Realized that I just need a single DD there, replaced her with Kumano KN and quest done.

I sank so many resources and buckets, still not done. Probably need both node and boss support. Previously, I just used node support.

I'm still not sure if I should grab the F4F-1U or the F3F from the composition quest, so I haven't started.

Plane choices such a pain in the butt.

There is a nice little thing that called bucket, which could be used to instantly repair ship, especially when the repair is over 3 hours. DD at 90+ at taiha state will take around that time to repair. Just save them early on. When it hit max count of 3000, feel free to use it to repair sub with 1 damage.

2-4? I sub cheesed that map. Farm subs at 1-5 boss node. Bonus drop from there is Akashi, which can repair ships in yellow or green condition.

You gotta farm buckets with expedition 2. But that only works after you farm enough subs to be effectively able to clear 2-3 without using any other ships since you can stockpile them... which is hard since you ideally want at least 3 subs if not 4 to make it happen.

Then again, getting to 3-2 gives you so many options - a grinding spot for all ships, and a source of BBs and heavier ships that you might not have.

I beat 2-4 with a 4bb/2cv comp back when I first did it... it must be easier now because of plane ranks, if nothing else. Still, stockpiling resources is probably the biggest hurdle right now, since all the the good gear (Reppus, Radars, etc) are expensive.

That said, sonars and depth charges are cheap, so 1-5 farming/grinding is probably how the devs intended players to start.

Buckets should really be saved for events however. That's always been my personal feeling towards them, but sometimes I will use buckets outside of events when grinding.

I'm not sure if he's going to buy repair slots, so if you're working with 2 and you don't have Akashi (plus a dupe), buckets are going to be inevitable.

Thankfully you only really need to reach 4-2 to be able to do "most" things. (5-4 would be nice for grinding + Crane farming, but that's like mid-game, since you have to screw around with 5-2 and 5-3).

You're going to eventually want that fourth slot. And then some more slots for ships. Soon, you'll watch your money get transformed into DMM points. Then, you buy Figmas and Nendos...

I am already thinking about buying more room for ships...and one my of friend is going to Japan in a few weeks. He owes me money so I sent him a few figmas and nendos to buy me...

Got another Taigei from doing quarterly 2-4 at boss node.

Lucky I don't feel like collecting those nendo. Wallet still in green state.

Kancolle in 4K. But my recently new MacBook Pro I bought for school , pretty much turned into a kancolle machine as of now.

Bought Asus ROG laptop early this year, plays Kancolle... No regret.

Good luck on clearing Sara quest. 5-5 is pretty much a gamble. 6-2 is a breeze.

Sara (FS) + 2 wildcards + 1CL + 2DD for both 5-5 and 6-2

I used Sara(CVB) + 2Cranes(CVB - jets) + ABKM/Yura/Ooyodo + Akiduki + Asashio(OASW) for 5-5 <-- NB too weak, Re class remains after NB. Tried replacing one of the cranes with Iowa, didn't pass that Re node. Will try again with BB in the fleet after map reset.

For 6-2, I used Sara(CVB) + Iowa + Kumano KN + Yura + Akiduki + Hatsuduki and went for 40 < eLos < 43 with BFHK route.

I used KC3 and it listed the CN=3 value.
No not really, the only LoS that got to be multiplied is the equipment, not the ship LoS, so a bit complicated calculation. Just load with everything and try node I :)
