Kanye West announces new design company called DONDA

So kanye mentions he wants to pick up were Steve jobs left off, I doubt Steve would want anything to do with a start up design firm with deals with 22 categories. Laughably bloated before they've even done one thing.

Kanye, please just stick with music, the only thing you're good at

He also doesnt have the brains for it. Seriously 22 different design divisions. Doing what?

I honestly think he saw all the coverage Steve Jobs got and thought "I want to be like him. How do I do that? Oh I know I get a bunch of people together,call them designers, give them my blessing and wait for the money and applause to roll in." That's not how it works.

It would be interesting to see him run into the various layers of beaucracy in this country and react to it though. Changing the school model in America. Good luck.

And why do people think he has no experience? Kanye has been interning in the fashion industry for a while and has worked with other entrepreneurs for years now.

Keep doin ya thing Ye. If your not ambitious and aiming a bit higher than what others believe is possible, I doubt anyone else would be.

i admire ambition, except when it is the result of maladjusted ego. the only ability i see him having is that of a solid producer/beatmaker in hip hop. as a rapper i've always felt he was mediocre at best.

still, would love to be wrong and see kanye ( or anybody for that matter ) do something great.

Ambition is great and all, but being practical, realistic, and humble are also good things.
 
What is this company doing to even do. I mean, I can't see how they'll be able to do anything with such a wide scope of activities.
