Production is pretty excellent, but everything else seems kind of weak. Love Sin City, though. Bliss is real interesting as well.

this isnt a Kanye album. it's a GOOD Music album. he'll have his hands all over the stuff for his own album just like MBDTF

also, this is the Cudi song yall are stanning for?
it's real average. probably my least favorite song on the album on first listen.

Bliss is such a HudMo beat lol. whoever said it sounds like his album was right.

It's so appropriate that Kanye's favorite rapper is Mase.
Dude fucking delivered. Higher is sick.

i actually think that Mase fucked up. Mase used to be one of my favorites when i was little and its because his flow was so apathetic and calm. here he sounded just different. i was actually really disappointed because i got myself so hyped to hear mase on this.

Just finished my first listen. This is really good, but not awemazing. I'ts strange. there must have been a point in making this where they decided to bring in so many other people. i would have been happier if they kept it more closed and only let people like jayz, mos def, q-tip, etc. people that have been working with ye forever. also album doesnt seem cohesive at all compared to other kanye albums. you can't even compare it. the last song is I Don't Like? Really? That should have not even been on here. Kanye had no problem leaving a lot of GOOD friday tracks off MBDTF but here he seems the necessity to include all the tracks he made recently on this. I want to see a credits list too real bad. Did mannie fresh get anything on this after all or not?

This album feels like its around an 8.5 but to Kanye standards it feels like 7.5

he's most likely executive producer though. there are a few tracks on this album with some of his touches on it.
No he definitely touched every single beat on here. Just cus he didn't produce the tracks doesn't mean he didn't touch them. If you can't hear Kanye touches on the beats you need to exercise your ears.

blame Def Jam. label interference and whatnot.

also Mannie & Mos Def have a project in the works.

on the whole...solid 8/10

in my mind i imagined a GOOD Music album revolving around Kanye, Sean and Pusha as the centerpiece and 2 Chainz as the most featured guest since they have the best chemistry. i'll take this though.
as far as im concerned the album could've stopped at track 9.
i see no reason for a Cudi solo or a Teyana/Legend duet...at all. they should be features or background and thats it.

I get that Cudi isn't for everyone but c'mon he's probably the second biggest member of G.O.O.D in terms of fanbase (and sales).

That's probably why he got a song to himself...plus it's basically a leftover anyway.

That was my thing as well. I felt with all the singles that was released the album came off as a big sean/2chainz/kanye show ft pusha. In reality this isn't all "car banger" songs but still I still like them.

Im surprised how chill the album was tbh. Also that cudi song was part of the MOTM 2 era.

Album is dope. Kinda wish I never listened to Mercy, New God Flow, Cold, and Clique cause that woulda made this album that much better.

I feel pretty disappointed; I think I should give it another, more proper, listen, but honestly I doubt I'm going to anytime soon. Initial impressions are just that 'eh'.

the album is pretty solid. i would have liked it better if i didnt hear half of these songs these past 6 months though

or rather pretty much what buhdeh said

Nah there isn't anything by Mannie Fresh nor by Q-Tip.
What the hell was Tip doing? He was even on that Complex cover and attending interviews about the album and everything.....
