probably felt that satan was in his life and he needed to vent it out.

Loving the album. IMO its his best work since his first album.

Pretty much Ye dealing with the fact now that, to many people around the world, and the fans he has, he's become the devil. And at the same time he's analyzing everything wrong in him and the world around him (like the sex, Amber Rose breakup, etc.).

And damn. That Complex article on the making MBDTF is amazing, y'all should read that if you haven't already. I would KILL to be in the studio with Ye when he's making a song. Seriously, it literally sounds like a magical experience.

I mean could you imagine waking up and having breakfast talking about MUSIC with RZA, Q-Tip, CuDi, Cons and whoever else? I mean holy shit. Also :lol @ Nicki walking in on Ye watching porn.

I've heard the rumors about JAY and Kanye but just wanted to know what Kanye-GAF thought about it since it's pretty prevelant throughout the album.



It went from being able to say "wtf are talking about? Those are just rumors" to having it plastered all over for the world to see in plain sight.

If you listen to the new T.I. and Kanye & CuDi record, there's a line from Ye:

Kanye is a religious man who has a clear understanding (clear to him) when the things he does wrong fall into the "sinful" category. he's probably the most honest person ever in that most people won't even acknowledge or talk about the things that they do that would fall under the category of "sin" according to their respective religion. Kanye seems to both hate and relish those times and makes it clear on wax. Funny thing is, most people find themselves with the same experience when they're "about to get in trouble and know it".

So I see it as an acknowledgement of a man occasionally losing the conflict and talking about it matter-of-factly. maybe it was all more palpable to him as of recently, though it's clearly been in the mix ever since Jesus Walks. something lots of us can identify with or could have at some point in life.

is the amazon mp3's encoded funky? Listening to the album on my cans and sound like they blew up the low end so it sounds like everything is hazy and fuzzy. CD any different?

Man, Monster sounds so much better. Glad they cleaned it up. Even Ross sounds beautiful and I have been complaining about his contribution for ages just cause I hate his CO ass :D

Same exact thing here. Not sure what's going on but the sound quality is fucking terrible, it's unlistenable.

That's My Bitch is awesome, awesome beat and they both KILL it. And yea, the Amazon MP3s are kind of weird for me too.

I'm very sad that it seems like my deluxe copy form Amazon will be censored. Maybe I hsould have ordered from Amazon.ca...

7 looks like Heartbreaker to me and I think it just says POWER at the end of the Dark Fantasy line.

Anyone know what's up with the retail disc?

Has none of that swappable cover pieces like Ye was showcasing on the Ustream.

Still pretty bummed they dropped the Phoenix piece for the pixelated version.

I ended replacing the version I downloaded from Amazon with a Flac version...SMH, I've become so nitpicky that everything is perfect with this album.

it's just so brief (lyrics), I can't give it the same level of appreciation as the other songs. but it's probably my most favorite beat and love it for what it is.

i love every song for what it is.

The last album I bought was Lupe Fiasco - Food & Liquor. I'm have to buy this album. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is my album of the year.
