Sounds like the musicians were .. mislead or something. Notice that all they say is "I love megaupload, its the fastest and safest way to share documents". It's kind of obvious that they were paid to say that line, but the message is twisted afterward into yet another typical 'YO EVEN THE ARTISTS ARE AGAINST BIG LABELS TRYING TO STOP PIRACY'

I am sure that if those artists truely knew what megaupload was about, they would be like 'wat'

i bet most of them don't even use megaupload.

i also like how macy gray sings more than half the song, yet her name is nowhere to be found amidst the names of more bigger stars who said a mere few words.

Universal has 'Tech News Today' episode yanked from YouTube for reporting on MegaUpload promo video

A daily news show on YouTube gets pulled because it reported on MegaUpload's YouTube vid getting pulled. Who sent the DMCA? Universal of course.

This one didn't even have the full song in it!

This is getting full on stupid. Streisand effect incoming indeed.

Haha, wow! How can you get something yanked off YT for reporting something? That actually sounds pretty pathetic on YT's part.

Anyone notice the guys name? "Megaupload is based in Hong Kong and is run by a guy named Kim Dotcom"

So badass, he better have that domain name too. This is kinda scary when you think about it, how powerful corporations are, in essence, in control of what you are allowed and not allowed to watch. Future.

You dont know who he is? He is a legend :)

Kim Schmitz (born January 21, 1974), also known as Kimble and Kim Dotcom, is a German computer criminal and businessman who has generated much publicity and was convicted of credit card fraud, computer fraud, insider trading, and embezzlement. Schmitz is also one of the leaders of the website Megaupload

There are some crazy videos of him on Youtube...

Fascinating stuff. As others have mentioned, Shmitz is quite a character and it seems fitting that he has the balls to pull this kind of stunt. In addition, Megaupload traffic is probably skyrocketing as the media runs with this; it's actually a brilliant business move.
