I'll second the Garden State love btw. Outside of Eternal Sunshine, Sideways, and I Heart Huckabees that was probably one of my favorite movies of last year; second only to Sideways really. It's not too often you encounter a movie that's funny and touching from start to finish. Both Portman and Knightley can act, but I'd definitely give the nod to Portman, particularly since she's done films that have more substance than Knightley's recent string of movies.
