Kevin James in a new NetFlix comedy about NASCAR

Cheeks Spread for Digital Only Future
I watched that international spy movie he did just recently and it was kinda fun in a 90s comedy kind of way. I'll definitely watch this with the same expectation.

The show.

Soulless cast, no chemistry, and a laugh track after every scentence, and why nascar a nich sport nobody cares for.

I give it 1 season, second season if netflix feels sad for kevin after that its done.

I have the entire run of king of queens.

I still randomly play an episode here or there. Just a random season and a random episode. Love that show to death.

Got any recommendations? I'm always looking for one to get into but have a hard time finding something that I find actually funny.

The Office UK
Peep Show (UK)
The IT Crowd (UK)
It's always Sunny In Philadelphia
Arrested Development
The Good Place
Broad City
Glow (Netflix)
Fleabag (Amazon Prime)

Schitt's Creek
The Middle

Letterkenny (Canada)
Trailer Park Boys (Canada)
F is for Family (Bill Burr Netflix comedy)
Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO)
The Inbetweeners (UK)

That is off the top of my head.

Alright yeah, I'll admit a few of these were good. Peep Show, IT Crowd and Always Sunny are top tier. I did like The Inbetweeners and Trailer Park boys was great when I originally watched through the first 9 (?) seasons. I will be checking out the rest if I can find 'em.

Great post. Thanks.

I never cared about the laugh tracks myself. Never stopped me from watching something.

Oh and to quote a legend from Tulsa, Oklafreakinghoma Mr Roy Damn Mercer.

I got a 55 gallon drum of whoop ass that i’m gonna pour all over you!!
It ain't nothin' for me to whup a man's ass
I'll knock a lung loose.
I'm gonna be on you like ugly on a Baldwin brother.
You're about to git yer dough popped.
I'll be on you like rust on a pump handle.
I'm gonna tear you a new corn chute.
I'll kick yer ass so hard you'll have to clear yer throat to fart.
I'm tougher 'n a two dollar steak.
I'll be on you like a rat on a cheeto.
I'm gonna git a hunk outta you big enough to clog the drain.
I'll tear into you like a hobo into a bologna sandwich.
I'm gonna wipe the floor with ya, then whup yer ass for not gettin' in the corners.
I'll put a popknot on yer head big enough for a calf to suck on.
I'm gonna hit ya so hard, yer kids'll be borned dizzy.
I'll be on you like ugly on a baboon's ass.
I'll beat you like pancake batter.
I'm gonna tear into you like a mountain lion into a baby goat.

Well.. How big a boy are ya!?

Red Dwarf, Only Fools and Horses and Faulty Towers. Those three represent the true golden years of British Comedy. Nothing will ever come close again.

The laugh track stood out like a sore thumb and I couldn't look past it. I think it's because it looks so clean, bright, and sterile as a whole, and I don't mean that in a good way.

I don't think I'll bother that it, the trailer didn't sell it to me at all.

It's "old" but add Married with Children to that big list of recs. Still holds up.
Married with Children was shot in front of a live audience. Even for the exterior scenes they recorded the reactions from a live crowd. That actually made the show great and unique, in later seasons every time one of the main characters showed up for the first time in an episode they got a big cheer from the audience (or even whistling for Kelly ;)).

That is what I thought when I saw the preview on Netflix......don't give me the laugh track.
