Why can't covers be simplistic anymore. The range of MGS4 covers was the worst thing, to see and compare what they think different people want.

I'm not judging it based on how effective a marketing image it is. Sony Marketing knows what they are doing with that boxart, I can imagine people seeing the glowing Helghast in a store going "whoa whats that" Not some simplistic white backround.

A quick breakdown of some of my scores:
PS3 Bioshock a 9.3,
COD4 a 9.4,
UTIII a 9.5 (die hard UT fan),

AlphaSnake said:You gotta' look at those scores from a time perspective too. Last year Bioshock would've scored the same as the other two, if not higher. This year, the game is facing a plethora of competition and is also dated in some respects. There's no denying that the story of Bioshock absolutely demolishes the other two, but it IS missing key aspects. Ultimately, the technical and multiplayer achievements of both UTIII and COD4 put them just barely over Bioshock. I can't simply rate a game based on its single-player merits, that wouldn't be fair.

Fuck, they've just got so much right with this game it's insane.
nelsonroyale said:didn't play the other two, but I wouldnt have even scored bioshock that high...and I played it on the pc... Extremely linear game, the narrative is well implemented, but also extremely minimal...and an extremely flat ending. Also though fontaine was a bit of a crappy villain.

I don't think I've ever seen someone try as hard as you're trying to find reasons to dislike a gameTom Penny said:I think you scored all of them too high. None are even a 9 IMO. To say KZ2 is better than those games isn't saying much too me because it should be.

It's really fascinating to be honest
but there are certainly no physics-based money shots such as deformable scenery or movable objects.

O_O, that didn't really make sense because there are 3 gifs floating out there that define the term physics-based money shot.

Would you kindly just play the game and experience it? It's never going to be any good just being told.Ploid 3.0 said:Now that people are talking about Bioshock a little. Makes it sound like they only played one round in Salamun Market since that level doesn't have a whole lot of environmental interaction. It's a very well-designed level but the other two levels in the beta have much more deformation and physics-based interactionroMonster said:Very vanilla preview from Gamespot.

I didn't want to flat out say it because I do think it's better to play it first hand, and worth playing for generally. But if I got you the answer you wanted, then that's cool.Ploid 3.0 said:Sorry about all of this off topic.
I found it though. Thanks for the hint stuburns. It was at youtube search "Bioshock - Would You Kindly?"
After seeing it, it wasn't really worth playing through again to me. Neat but not amazing. I didn't. I win.obey heh, I got fed up with his fetch quests
