These new vids are absolutely incredible. Best so far I think. What did Blim get in trouble for though, seeing as these guys are showing everything, cut scenes and all. Not that i'm complaining though.

Game looks incredible BTW O_O

Better than ever! Those videos are awesome! Man, the desert is the mos beautiful thing I've ever seen.

I tend to like desert landscapes myself, but it's hard to make a wasteland look so good. The desert sniper vid from Gamersyde was fucking awesome.

Some really good discussion in general. Some very good observations and points too. I disagree with David Ellis about wanting Lean and Peak in the multiplayer tho. With the maps designed around flanking and therefore having a 360 degree of attack it would hinder more than help. Especially with the verticality of the maps. It's different from single player where, I think he described it as a "270 degree cone of attack", it benefits from the cover system. But good stuff overall.

So stop the hate ;)

Except for Nick Suttner... he's the new ASSASSINATION TARGET! :p

Suttner's opinions are okay, although sometimes weird (see Dead Space and "gimmick").

Took some ball-squeezing from GAF for 1UP to man up, but crisis averted.

Damn, that is surprising to say the least. I don't really care about Sutner that much, since he just hates games in general. :P

I cannot possibly be more hyped for this game.
 
Man, there's something bothering me. Two things actually.

1 - LOD issues. This only happens in the characters body/suits, but is EASILY noticeable. This as present in KZ1 too and it bothered me a fuck lot. It is STILL there. Not nearly as bad as in the first game, but still...

2 - The sky flickering in the desert scenery. That's weird and I'm pretty sure it will be gone on retail version, but still worth to mention.


But this LOD thing really worries me. TTP noticed that when he was playing as it was pretty much visible on the video Welcome from Gamersyde. I really hope they fix that =/

Yeh, of course, I'm only joking about Suttner. I quite like him. He's not a games journalist to me, seeing as I don't think he ever seems to have a relevant opinion on a game :p To me he's just a cool guy with a beard. A magnificent beard.

I will not watch anymore than I've seen yesterday. Some of that stuff looks stunning but I REALLY want to be surprised when I first see some of these levels.

The 1up guys are really up on this game so far on the podcast.

Nick actually came into the 1UP Show thread to explain his position and seems happy to discuss his comments so long as you keep it civil, so if you have any questions for him he may take time to answer. His comments seem pretty reasonable when you hear what he has to say in the thread.

I wonder if the video from Gamersyde was taken down, because of the poor quality...
The videos from the French site looks significantly better; don't get me wrong I appreciate the footage shown from Gamersyde, but the videos posted on the French site looks soooooo much better... I wonder if the video is better encoded or using a newer build, because the game looks fucking amazing in every video period.
