No it wasn't at work, I played it at a public event recently. Only the first level a couple of times.

The preview builds are in a few offices at the moment though, there's probably a few people on here who have it.

Some of the hallways i've seen after a fe people have been killed in them....a blood mess.

I was watching that GamePro video and thinking what the fuck is that guy doing. There is a moment where he's about 30 ft from an enemy which has its back towards him and he doesn't even zoom in! WTF. I zoom in for like 90% of my kills. The only time I won't is if I'm like 5 feet from an enemy. That was embarrassing... More evidence that reviewers can't play games for shit.

Edit: Just watched the MaxConsole video and the guy does the same thing. These are the type of people who use rocket launchers.

Ah gotcha.

Sony and GG better be putting together one hell of a collectors edition because I would love to see
the development process this game has gone through.

If it comes with a Helghast figure and an artbook that's +1 CE from me. Anything else would just be icing.
 
For those who have played and unlocked a good bit:

Is there a gun somewhat equivalent to the standard assault rifle we see in most of the videos... that just uses ironsights instead of the dot?

PLEASE SAY YES.

My shotty will be waiting for all of you...hungry for blood.
I'm really excited to see what kick ass set pieces GG has in store for us for the SP Campaign. I'm not worried about the MP at all cause I'm part of the beta right now and I KNOW it'll be amazing.

Are they virtually the same barring the aiming mechanism or are there actual substantive differences in their firepower/reload/accuracy/recoil etc?

I haven't spent a whole lot of time with the gun you're anxious to use, but when I switched back and forth I didn't notice a very large difference. Mainly just the scope/ironsights

It's getting redundant to say this in a KZ2 thread, but this game looks fucking unbelievable. There are some godly gifs in here.

Those GT videos sucked. Every time something interesting started to happen it cut away to another clip of him dying and waiting to respawn.
 
Wow, just started creating my own server and boy are there tons of options.
You can allow/disable any of the classes and weapons. Friendly fire is optional.
You can pick how long each game type lasts (the different modes: deathmatch/capture & hold/etc).

Clan only option.
Whether enemies show up on radar all the time or only when firing or not at all.
Badge combinations on or off.
Team balance and then you can go and change specific options for each game mode/type.
(Example: For assassination...you can choose how long the target has to survive and how many times they have to do it)

There's alot of options to mess with.
And THEN you can save them as a preset.

I remember the 1up Yours episode after Shane had come back from GG studios. He talked about how they broke down visuals for him and the dust refracting light in the sun.:D

I have no idea why people would actually choose the scope over the ironsights. Scope would only win out at extreme distances. Hopefully they haven't screwed up the ironsights (very few games get these right...).
 
I went over to my friends house who got into the beta and played this for about 45 minutes today. It's fucking amazing, I can't wait for this to come out.
