FUCK this game looks awesome. so you can lay multiple turrets? HUD makes it seem like you can have 4 up -- is that so? what is the counter to enemy turrets?

A 20 minute boss fight? I guess it makes sense considering someone mentioned that they were looking at MGS boss fights.
 
So the last level is
Vasari Palace, and it entails an epic boss fight? Man, that sounds awesome. Who is Radec though? Radec academy is in the beta too...

well right -- but what works most effectively at doing so? can a typical soldier just go at it in the open 1v1 and take it out..? i assume it's a bit harder than that.

It'll take a lot of shots and if you're within a certain distance it can do some quick damage to you.

They can go down pretty quickly, but it uses up a lot of your ammo. It's not too hard to take them down.

The turrets are really great as a deterring factor. They impede progress to certain locations more than they are useful as a death tool. They're also great to prevent people from staying in one place for too long.

I'd assume he's a general, and second in command to Visari. So Visari lives....leaving open a third game.

Of course, those are just assumptions on my part.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Either way, a
20 minute boss fight -- actually, probably longer than 20 minutes if you get a trophy for beating it within 20 minutes -- sounds really freaking awesome

You absolutely will. The game is phenomenal.

I'm really looking forward to playing the other maps in the game...but, it's funny, because I could play these same 3 maps for years and years. It never gets old. :lol

No worries. Warhawk was also pretty crashy in its beta. My theory is: it must be those mixed global user setups, when the beta was EU only it never crashed for me once. Especially with voip going back and forth and keeping everything game-wise in sync might be a bit much for the current netcode and server capacity. Having too much latency introduced by all kinds of global user in one match might be the problem. I'm sure they'll sort it out.

These vids are miles better than anything Gametrailers/Gamespot/IGN put up...you can actually play, tho I think there's some very favourable editing towards bloody_marcel in these vids :lol haha kidding good stuff.

Shame we couldn't get more spectator footage, tho I like the way you're watching others then suddenly "FFObsesssed snipes two people" pops up at the bottom then theres a long distance shot of me coming into view. Great cinematography ;)
 
Wow, Assault is crazy. The grenade launcher isn't that great, but I'm having so much fun. I can't help but shout and make funny noises as I zip around the room with the boost ability. :lol
 
Awesome videos TTP, game looks like tons of fun. Only annoyances are the still awful laggy death animations and the medium-heavy FPS drops when lots of crap is going on.

Other than that, pure ownage.

Does Resistance 2 have a multilayer that's on par or similar to Killzone 2?

After watching the vids it really makes me pine for a game with a similar structure and the only other game I can think of is Call od Duty 4, which I already own.
 
Gamersyde steams are fine in UK.

Look great esp all the classes seem enjoyment, Y'all lucky getting one week extended :(
But I'm really looking for SP mode more.

MP Beta: Spectator Mode is my fav, even 3rd person view is not bad.

I tried played the Prince of Persia videos too and they didn't work. Weird, because your videos in the past have always worked.

P.S. Get rid of that Banjo ad on the right screen. It's annoying as hell and even when I hit the stop button, I still hear music.

The Tactician video was incredible. That battle in the sewers was epic. I wonder how long the multi will keep me away from cs/tf2.

When are the single player impressions going up?

I think when the embargo is lifted, which is Dec 4th maybe???? 7th?? can't remember.
 
Just sniped 2 people with the revolver :lol Went on a 15 man sniping spree and finished with double the points of the next guy on my team... shame you weren't filming that TTP! :p

I'm dying to see single player now tho! Someone LEAK something PLEASE! Can't wait for the gifs!

I can't remember exactly, but not too long. Perhaps 8 - 10hrs max. The journey there nets you so much though that you won't be bored. Even if the only thing you want to do is snipe you can still use the ISA assault rifle to great effect.

Really awesome videos TTP! Really shows how great this game is.

Next time you do a capture (if any),. could you try disabling the HUD - it is truly cool playing like that. (But much harder though =))
 
Man, I wish I had all these classes unlocked! It takes so much friggin time to unlock them. I finally unlocked the medic badge after about a week's worth of playtime.

BTW, something needs to be done about your teammates just running in front of you and you getting docked points for killing them.

It's gone now. But I was getting it on a few of the vids about 10-15 min ago (at the time of my post). I think I was trying to download the saboteur and tactician videos.
