32 players is too chaotic for me .. on any map other than salaman market
which is a huge map, very open .. really good sniping positions etc.

If I had it my way I wouldn't play any map but Salaman Market. It's not that the other maps are bad, but that one is essentially perfect.

But some people like the chaos. It can be organized chaos sometimes.
I love all of them with 32 players.

it's a damn good map .. i think all three are great maps .... i personally like the market the best ... i like open maps more tho

Yep, happened twice at the beginning. Then I switched to a rocket launcher for the death match mode and fired a rocket just as some jackass walked in front of me, killed everyone around!

Well, you gotta laugh. Serves me right really.

I prefer the other two maps actually, maybe I'd like the market more if I had scout unlocked. :P
 
God, lately the beta has been freezing a lot on me :( Was playing last night and it froze. Played a little earlier and it froze. Damn...

I grabbed my mic out but i couldn't hear or understand anyone though, so i turned it off. The voices would keep cutting out.

I had to cruise anyway after the first game.

Haha Nice... but yeah I think that > 25 people at Redric Academy is just to much... I couldnt see anything the framerate/ lag was horrible and I died about 30 times LOL

What class would you not be able to understand if you were given them all at once? I don't see any class that you would have trouble with for more than one round.

It's a way to reward people for playing and playing well. I'm currently a medic and I have no problems competing against other players at higher ranks. Heck, I still use the default rifle.

Medic is the best class as far as I can tell for the way I play. The default rifle is one of the best weapons because of it's power and accuracy at long range. Unlocking the blood bag badge allows you to heal yourself fully over and over. The other classes not so rewarding for how I play.

Engineer - The shotgun in the game is decent, but I hardly ever use shotguns in FPS unless I'm running out of ammo. Turrets are too weak to kill anyone by themselves, easily destroyed, too hard to unlock secondary.

Assault - Boost is great, Rocket Launcher is good but only 3 rockets so you have to find a new gun or an ammo station. Not that 3 rockets is wrong, more and the game would become pretty unbalanced, it's just not a class I'd be thrilled about if it wasn't for the boost. Grenade launcher is pretty crappy. For some reason boost does not register in games for me so I couldn't find out about the secondary.

Tactician - Spawn points are good in a team work sense, but sort of useless because the teams can be split into groups of 4, re-spawning with the leader and the fact that the enemy can overtake and camp at the spawn point. Air Support is useless.

Saboteur - Fun to mess around with in enemies base, assassinations or earning some of your other medals (piston, melee, etc) but the starting weapons are far too weak.

Scout - Haven't unlocked but I love sniping in games which is probably why it's the most disappointing leveling system I've played. Forcing you to play for a long time just to unlock one sniping weapon is ridiculous.

I agree with this sentiment 100%.

At first, you don't even notice how immersive this game is until you actually sit down and play it.

When playing this game you actually feel like you are inside the game not simply due to drop dead graphics but because of all the little details.

The acceleration and deceleration of the camera, the smoke, the particles... The motion effects... All the little pieces line up into a virtual experience which is the best I have experienced yet.

If you get shot in the head, it's pretty much an instant reaction.

I'm not signing up to defend or criticise anything. I'm just glad this game is a way off, because I didn't expect it to be the must-buy it so clearly is - delayed animations or whatever.

I don't see that getting fixed (at least with the MP, SP looks like they react faster). It looks to be just a the limit of what they can do.

Too be fair though there is nothing like it in videogames (that I've seen)--I think MGS4 may have had something similar but the animations weren't as sophisticated. And euphoria engine in GTA4 doesn't look nearly as good--in most games the characters just go to rag doll after they've hit.
