Moar OMGWTF?

I'm currently in the market for a Full HDTV. What TVs can handle that much OMGWTF?

Panasonic - TH46PZ80 or Panasonic - TH42PZ80 (depending on size.) Very good plasma screens for not that much money imo.

I recently bought this Bravia 46W4500 - it likes KZ2 (and LBP).

Awesome, funny thing is, I'm looking into the 40W4500 at the moment. How's the screen when there's a lot of stuff going on? Does it handle fast motions well? Any ghosting?

Even the blue light in the back of the character's suit lightens the ground... that's insane :lol

One more gif coming, BTW :B

Showing the sky :D

Oh, here it is:

game looks insane. cant wait to get my hands on it.

one question: from the vids i've seen of decent/good players it seems that its too easy to get kills. The combination of the realistic damage system and gun accuracy makes it seem like guys dont need to zoom via sights or anything; so basically a kill just comes down to who sees who first. Is this right/wrong/not an issue? thanks

Especially when it's you ;)

How many double kills did we have last night, pretty much everytime we met in that match it was a double kill :lol

they really need to fix the rocket launchers. they end up ruining the game.
I'm gonna play with the assault class for the rest of the beta just to annoy so they hopefully fix it.

A demo of 6 levels , eh? How many have we seen so far for SP? 2? 3? I'm so curious to see what the other levels look like. I'm hoping we see some forests, beaches, hills, mountains, etc.

Insta-kill. Thing is, the things have a reloadtime that takes enough time for the enemy that did not die in the explosion to go in and take you down before you can get another shot off. So I really don't feel like the rocketlaunchers should be more balanced or even removed.

Right....A 2+ hour demo. Very likely.....

He must be talking about the demo sent to the press (the one that some guys already mentioned, without really releasing any info on it, just saying it's "very impressive"), and not about a demo released on the psn for ps3 users.

Well thats why I asked for more details because rocket launchers are insta-kill in every FPS I have played.

nothing is really wrong with it, but if everyone on a team loads with it, it's going to seem a bit stacked isn't it? I mean, imagine you start a round and you'd see rockets flying by and exploding people around you. Granted they have limited ammo, and most rocket users end up suiciding along with their kills in close range, but still, it can seem a bit unfair.

Preview code has 6 levels. It was posted a while back in this thread. IIRC, snoopers was the one who posted that. Search back some pages and you'll find it.

Can't wait for Dec. 4 embargo to end.

^ Probably old to all of you Killzone fanatics, but what is it exactly about video #2 that makes this game a must own title for me? I'm not really sure what it is. Before I've been interested in the game, but for some reason I'm just compelled to pick up a Ps3 before this launches just because of that video.

I think its just the level design and atmosphere that really knocks me over for this particular map. It doesn't look like anything groundbreaking from a gameplay perspective, but I think its level of immersion just really draws me to the game. Maybe it can be summed up as just the graphics whore in me coming out, but there just seems to be this...feeling about the game that I can't really put my finger on that speaks to me. Again I can't put my finger on it but it just feels like this breath of fresh air that I really haven't gotten from a shooter since Perfect Dark on the N64.

I REALLY hope this game doesn't disappoint.

You know...now that you say that, it does have that Perfect Dark vibe (the one with the three walkways over the abyss in the city or something like that).

I wish they had delayed Resistance and put this game on a fast track to November. It would have pushed the PS3 quite a bit more. Phooey.

It will, when a game is so hyped it dissapoints.
GTA IV being the latest example.

Ahem, nevermind!

I like to melee enemies when they're pleading on the ground for revival - don't waste any precious ammo and it's ooooooh so satisfying! :D

The map design for all three beta maps are simply exceptional, and they're pretty huge too, just so much intricacy but still relatively easy to remember. >:3

There are hyped games that also delivered to counter GTA4 this year.

MGS4
LBP
Fable
Gears Of War
Fallout etc.

Very True.

It's not like KZ2 has any reviews out for it either. Most of the impressions are all from gamers playing the MP beta as well. With GTA4, all we had to go on was the reviews of the game and almost ALL of them were "glowing 10's".

The hype for this game seems to be more like LBP. People loved the beta and thought it surpassed many expectations it might have had. That's why we're excited. There's something tangible to the hype for this game. GTA4 was just a giant media circle jerk.

K2 HYPE:
BETA players saying how much the game rocks.

GTA IV HYPE:
The press saying how much the game rocks.

I remember I was starting to regret my preorder of LBP until I played the beta. I was smiling and felt like a little kid when I started it up. With Killzone the beta impressions have been overwhelmingly positive, way more than I ever expected them to be. I can't wait to finally see it in person and play it.

I bought LBP last week: My game of the year. Sorry MGS4.
